Danny nodded. “Man, if I wasn’t, I prob’ly woulda lied.”

He chuckled. "Alright." He started working on making sandwiches.
Danny rocked on his heels, glancing around the kitchen. He felt odd just watching Alex make sandwiches, in all honesty.

Alex finished the sandwiches, holding one out to Danny with a smile. "Here."

“Ah, dude, thanks!” Danny took the sandwich with another smile, nodding to Alex in thanks before tearing into the food like- well, a rabid wolf.

Alex smiled. "Yeah, no problem." He sat down on a stool, eating his own easily.
Danny was done in fifteen seconds flat. “Thanks again, man. Real nice of ya to do that.”
He was still eating. "You're welcome. If you want more, you're welcome to it."
“Nah, nah. I’m fine, but thanks!” Danny shook his head as if to stress his point.
He smiled. "Alright." he finished up his own sandwich, and got up, putting the supplies away.
Danny took another long sip of his water. “Oh! Fraser texted me the fuckin’ uhh-“ Danny snapped his fingers, trying to remember where he was going with this. “Fuckin’… oh! The fucken’ schedule for our next few sets this month! And for a few more in the future, but mostly this month. Talked t’him ‘bout that talent show thing, remember that?”
He nodded a little bit. "Oh cool! And yeah, I do. Why, did he sign y'all up for one?" He asked, looking at Danny curiously.
Danny nodded. “Yea, it’s the one I was talking about. I’m fine with doin’ it, but Oz’s the one that’s a real piece of work. Dude’s hard to convince, but I think we can get him on board.”
He nodded a little. "Huh. Sounds cool." He replied with a smile. "So…when is it?" He asked.
“Couple weeks.” Danny shrugged. “We think we already have a song we want to play, but we might write somethin’ new.”
"Huh, alright. Cool! Well, let me know how it goes, alright?" he smiled, stretching.
“Yeah man, I will! Might have to send you a recording if we can get our hands on one. We’re lookin’ at playin’ our heavy shit, the real bangers.” Danny ran his teeth over his knuckles, grinning. “It’ll be cool.”

He nodded, slightly. "Yeah, alright. Thanks!" he smiled at the werewolf, hopping up to sit on the counter.

“It’s nothin’, man.” Danny dug in his pocket, pulling out a few loose sticks of gum and popping them into his mouth. “Sorry ‘bout this, I just gotta fucken’… chew on somethin’, y’know? It happens.”
He chuckled softly. "Yeah, it's fine. Long as you don't make a lot of gross smacking sounds, I don't mind." he replied with a smile.
“Oh- gross, man, nah. That’s so fuckin’ nasty. I just don’t wanna chew anythin’ up.” He shrugged.
He nodded. "Alright, good." he replied. "Because if there's any noise that I hate more than anything else, it's when someone smacks when they chew."
“Right? Ugh, shit’s so nasty!” Danny wrinkled his nose. “I don’t get how people can do it- like, can’t y’all hear yourselves chew?”
"Yes! Exactly!" Alex gestured vaguely with his hands. "My cousins do it like…every fucking time I see them and I want to slap them upside the head!"
“That sounds like hell.” Danny agreed, laughing. “Absolute torture.”
"I've asked them before if they ever learned any table manners at all. The response varies." he sighed, running his hands through his hair.
“Wow, you’re so much nicer to your cousins than I am. My cousins pop their gum and I punch them.” Danny laughed sharply, grinning. “Then again, we’re probably rowdier than y’all.”
Alex chuckled. "Yeah, you're definitely rowdier. Besides, there are more of my cousins than there are of me."
“I mean.. same here, but that’s never stopped me.” Danny shrugged.
"Yeah, but you're a hell of a lot bigger than I am." he replied, laughing a little bit.
