So I have a few ideas that sound fun. I'm feeling like doing a romance right now though.

• One day in class, someone decides to scream in their head to catch any mind-readers. As you do that your crush flinches.
• "You and I both got arrested for holding up traffic to let a duck and it's ducklings cross the road and now we are sharing a holding cell."
• On someone's 18th birthday, time stops for 24 hours and only them and their soulmate can move. The night before their birthday, their bf/gf and them plan what they are going to do, as they are convinced that they are soulmates. At 10:00 the night before, they host a party. As it turns 12:00 am, time stops the only two people moving are that person and a random person at the party.

Here are just a few rules:
-Keep it pg-13 or lower, I'm not comfortable with writing smut and that kind of thing
-Please try to use proper grammar, some mistakes are totally fine though
-Swearing is okay
-LQBTQIA+ 100% accepted
-One-liners are okay as long as they help progress the rp

30 minutes. Who knew time could go by this slowly. Summer had been waiting all day, minute by minute. Her boyfriend came early, around 8:00. She was so excited to hang out with him for 24 hours, alone where they could basically do anything they wanted. About 20 people ended showing up, some she knew better than others. Summer mostly stuck to her boyfriend or the kitchen. At that moment, she was in the kitchen. She was eating some Takis while she sat at the counter.

Lilith was at another girl's birthday party. Lilith didn't know Summer too well, but obviously, she liked her enough to invite her. She was sitting down in the living room, drinking a soda and eavesdropping on others' conversations. Everyone was laughing and joking about the couple, and guessing what they would do during the 24 hours.

"Hey babe, why are you sitting here alone, on your birthday!?" Summer's boyfriend had come up behind her and hugged her from behind as he spoke. "I don't know, I'm just bored waiting I guess…" Summer crunched on another Taki as she waited. A few minutes later, she decided to make her rounds again. She looked around the living room, then she made eye contact with a girl she forgot was invited. She slowly made her way to the girl, the Taki bag still in her hands.

Lilith smiled at the birthday girl. "Have I said happy birthday already?" she asked, fully aware that she hasn't.

"Oh uh, I'm not sure… but thank you for coming! I'm so glad you were able to!" Summer smiled back, knowing how much of a lie that whole sentence was. "So, are you enjoying the party?"

"Yeah! It's pretty cool, actually," she fake laughed. Lilith didn't really want to be here, but it was rude to just say so. "So, how do you feel about turning 18 in a bit? Must be exciting, huh?" She grinned, changing the subject.

Summer also fake laughed, confused why she invited this person in the first place. "I'm really excited! I'm a bit worried that my boyfriend won't actually be my soulmate though…" She stood in a slightly awkward silence between the two of them. To stop it, she ate another Taki making sure there was a loud crunch.

Lilith suppressed a laugh. Wouldn't that be disappointing. "I'm sure everything will work out fine," she smiled at her. "Can I have a Taki?"

Summer smiled. "Thank you!" She gives the girl the bag, expecting her to take a handful. "Of course you can."

Lilith only took one and gave the bag back to her. She felt uncomfortable asking for food in the first place. Why would she take more than she wanted? "Thank you," she grinned at her. "It's almost time for you to turn 18!"

Summer took bag the bag and popped another in her mouth. When she heard that one sentence, she quickly looked up at the clock on the wall. Her eyes widened. "Woah! it is almost time!! Only 3 minutes! Well, it was nice talking to you, see you tomorrow!" She quickly left and set the bag of Takis on the counter. Her boyfriend was there and they gave each other a quick hug and peck on the cheek. Summer grabbed a chair and stood on it. "HELLO EVERYONE! MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION?" Everyone stopped talking and turned their attention to Summer. "Thank you all for coming, I hope you enjoyed the party. In T-minus…" She looked up at the clock again. "Oh my gosh! T-minus 20 seconds!" She quickened her talking speed. "See you all tomorrow!" Most of the group counted down with Summer. "7…6…5…4…3…2…1" It was finally Summer's birthday, May 26.

Lilith chuckled and closed her eyes. When she woke up, it would be the next day. She opened her eyes and expected people to be leaving, but that's not what happened. She saw everyone frozen. Surprised, she got up from her chair and slowly looked over at Summer.

Summer turned around expecting to see her boyfriend with his arms open ready to go enjoy their time together. But instead, she saw him frozen with a smile on his face. What?! Why is this happening… I thought we were going to be together forever… soulmates… She looked around with sadness written all over her face. She then made eye contact with the same girl from earlier.

Lilith was slightly shaking. She's my soulmate? She bit her cheek and laughed, "Wow, this is kind of awkward, huh?"
