(Like where did he just jump into the waterfall?)
I summon @Starlight_I_love_Magic to the field so we can role play!!!
(I'm assuming there's a cliff/lookout over it, and he just jumped off of it..)
(So he just….is there the land under him close or far like wait..)
Y'know those lookout spots they always have over waterfalls? He just jumped out over the waterfall))
(Oh XD)
He put down his guitar and took over, "Rykah?"
Rykah let his wings catch him, half gliding up along the cliff face, hovering shakily.
"Are you sure about this? You said you didn't know how to fly right?" he bit his lip worried
"I know how! sorta…" he said, concentrating on staying aloft.
"If you die you won't be able to keep out promise remember," he held up his hand smirking.
Rykah nodded, "I'm not gonna die!" he said, before circling the wide space.
"You better not!" he yelled back. He watched as he flew in circles, "I wouldn't want that beautiful body getting hurt."
Ryah huffed, practicing his manuevering for a good half an hour, before coming up to hover a little. His flight had gotten steadier, but he was clearly tired now.
"Sit with me I can see that you're tired if anything we should practice at home were you can be safe." he held out his arms and smiled.
Rykah kept hovering, "I need you to move so I can land first" he said softly.
He shook his head and chuckled as he stepped back.
Rykah nodded a thanks before swooping around and then over the barrier, twisting to try and land on his feet, tripping, and ending up on his face, again.
He bent down and stroked his hair, "You'll get it live I promise. Are you hurt anywhere?"
Rykah groaned, picking himself up, "Just bruised.." he said softly, his ears flicking back.
He placed his hand on his neck, "mmm where?"
"Everywhere.." he said, leaning into his touch.
"How does that even….never mind. Let's bring you back o camp okay?" he said smiling softly
Rykah nodded, sore from the flight, and the crash landing.
He chuckled as they started walking back to camp, "You push yourself way too hard. I don't want you getting hurt so don't push yourself alright?"
"If I don't push it then I'll never get better at flying" replied Rykah with a sigh, his muscles sore from all the work.
I'll massage your back when we get there, but this is a trip where you don't have to do work. You're supposed to relax," he chuckled. They made it back to camp and everything was where it's supposed to be. He opened the tent and tilted his head signaling for Rykah to come in.
"It was instinct okay" he said, "And unfortunately my flight muscles are out of shape, so I need to practice.." he sighed, following the other inside.
He took of Rykah's shirt and laid him on his stomach, "Well, for right now, relax okay?" he started to massage the area near his wings that felt sore.
Rykah huffed, but that quickly turned into a sigh as the other massaged his sore muscles.
"Just relax love," he whispered trailing his fingers down Rykah's back looking for any sore spots. When Rykah winced he knew to start on that part.
Rykah nodded, laying his head down to let the other do his thing.
