Sage sat on their bed, looking through their phone contacts. They had more scam contacts than actual friends. They had been deleting contacts for the past few hours now, hoping to not have to scroll as long from now on. They needed to take a break, they were pretty sure their eyes were getting bloodshot from boredom. They texted their only friend online, M. They didn't know if the M stood for something, nor did they care. They were just glad to see him semi-successful. "Hey, how are you today? Anything going on?"

Sage blinked. "My mom is dead, M. Also, you are not funny."

"No, he is 84 and has Alzheimer's. I'm open though, lol."

"I'm joking…" Sage rolled their eyes as they got up for the day. M was kind of dumb, in their opinion, but they wouldn't say that to his face. They, in fact, had taken it upon themself to keep M out of trouble. Not like Sage had much of a life anyway.

"Okay, I'll defend you in court"

"oh"

"oh, then give it back"

Karla knocked on her new neighbors door (sage) she knew she wouldn't be here long but might as well make some fake friends right?

Sage opened the door, expecting to see M. Surprisingly, it was someone else. A bunny, who had seemed to have dyed her ears. They put out their hand. "Hello, I'm guessing you are the one who moved in last night?"

"Yep! That's me! Just thought I would drop by say hello make some new friends, ya know?" She exclaimed with the most pure smile in the world as some would say even though it was fake.

(Also she didn't dye her ears they are just naturally the same color as her hair)
