Personality: He's very laid-back, doesn't have a care in the world. He generally doesn't interfere with certain situations, but if someone he loves is hurt or is about to get hurt, he's right there to stand up for them. He's a definite introvert.
Likes: Reading, macarons (and just sweets in general), foxes
Dislikes: The number 4, sports, mangos (he's allergic to them)
Fears: Tetraphobia. He can't have 4 of anything— he freaks out if he does. This was brought on by his stepfather feeding him conspiracies about how the number 4 only brings upon bad luck.
Prejudices: None.
Conditions: He doesn't have any conditions himself, but his brother is albino.
Identifiable traits: The scar over his left eye.

Appearance: (They're fairly short, and their hair is long, but they keep it up. They also look nice without their glasses, but they're nervous to try contacts)
Personality: Kansei is a very gentle and quiet soul most of the time. They keep to themselves and they love to read. They can be sensitive at times, but don't like to show that they're upset in public, so they'll usually go to Makoto later on to vent. They're easy to fluster and they generally seem to be uneasy about something.
Likes: Warm/Soft things, Animals, Coffee, Tea, Books, Makoto
Dislikes: Spiders/Bugs, Being cold, Loud noises, Their body

Makoto was sitting on the living room couch, scrolling through the college ads he was getting on his phone. "Mmh… That's… That's weird. I swear I've gotten some of these ads before," he mumbled. He adjusted the rose in his hair and rubbed his eye, then looked at one of the ads he scrolled past again. "Yeah, I didn't take this ad." Makoto then got up and flicked on the TV, flipping through channels until he eventually decided to turn the TV off. He went back to scrolling through his phone.
Kansei was in the kitchen cooking breakfast for the two of them, humming softly to themself. They heard Makoto mumbling something and looked over their shoulder at him. "Did you say something, love?" They asked softly. "Or are you just talking to yourself again?" They flipped the bacon and watched it sizzling in the pan.
They got a lot of college ads and emails as well, but they weren't particularly concerned about it. They'd gotten used to it by now, and mostly just cleared the notifications whenever they showed up.

Makoto looked over at the other. "Yeah, I got more college ads, and over half of them are repeats of ones I've gotten before," he replied. He himself didn't care for the ads, but he found that some of them were so bad that they were good. The colleges looked great, but the way the advertisers worded certain things just made the ad itself bad. "Sometimes I wonder who writes some of these ads. There are so many typos… Maybe they didn't notice."
"Maybe, I dunno. Do any of them interest you?" They asked curiously, taking the bacon off the heat once it was cooked. "I haven't decided where I want to go yet. I haven't really been looking." They shrugged and bright a couple plates over to the table. "Whenever I get the notifications, I clear them. If I'm gonna go to college, I'll decide on my own through my own research, not some poorly made ad."

"I mean, there was one… I cleared the ad on accident though, and I was only halfway through reading the college name so I only remember a small portion of it. Hopefully, they'll advertise to me again and I won't be such an idiot and press the wrong button," Makoto said, joking near the end. He leaned his head back on the couch and slouched down, groaning. "I wish finding good colleges was easier. That and I wish I wasn't so indecisive."
"Well, maybe you can look up the part you remember and see if you can find it anywhere." Kansei shrugged again and sat down at the table. "Now c'mon. I made breakfast, and I'm not gonna bring it in there. It's hard to get food stains out of the couch." They huffed a bit to themself and started eating their food. "I'm sure we'll be able to find good colleges to go to, even if they don't end up being the same one."

"Yeah yeah, I'm comin'. Makoto said, getting up off the couch and coming to the table, sitting down. "And you're right. I guess I need to stop tryin' to rush the process, eh?" he said, followed by a quiet laugh. "And if we don't get into the same one… Then- well, it's gonna be awkward thereon. Not seeing a familiar face is gonna feel… weird."
