"You're fine, I think a water would suffice." Midas said. "Oh, I was wondering because the last time I was on Earth, Caesar was getting assassinated and everyone was all torn up about it. I guess times have changed, huh?" Midas informed the other. It'd been a long time since then, and he wasn't going to let anything ruin his comeback.

"Caesar…assassinated? Dude, that was over two-thousand years ago…" Junpei came back with the water, as well as a bottle of Coke Zero for himself, setting them down on the coffee table in front of the couch. He sat gently next to Midas, not wishing to consume a lot of space–after all, it was Midas who was hurt.
"I'm sorry I couldn't offer better treatment." Junpei's face was solemn.

"You're alright, I promise, you're fine." Midas told Junpei. "You know, you remind me a little bit of him. You take charge, even when things seem a little hopeless. I'm very thankful for it." He added, with a slight smile. He opened the water, and drank a whole lot of it. "Wow, this is refreshing," He marveled at the drink.

Junpei chuckled. "Yeah, 21st century water sure is better than water back then, I suppose. I don't take charge, though. I normally go with the flow as far as most things go." Even though he was playing himself down, Junpei smiled at Midas' compliment.

Midas laughed, authentically. "Oh, I guess I'll have to learn that, then. I guess you can't just assume things based off of people anymore, huh?" He said, wondering how true his guess at this reality's workings was.

Junpei smiled, shaking his head. "I wish it were that easy nowadays. I swear, I couldn't tell you how many times I thought someone liked me, when really I was just assuming things. How are you used to things?"

Midas looked a little shocked at what the other person had said, before brushing it off of his mind. "In Heaven, see, everyone is true and sweet. It's easy to guess things up there. People are always obeying righteousness there." Midas told the other, truthfully as he could. He might have been kicked out for a lie, he didn't know.

Junpei blinked. "Everything is that simple? If I hadn't known better, I'd probably kick the bucket now and live there. Alas, I don't think I'd have lived a good, complete life then." He sipped his Coke. "If everyone obeyed the law here, we'd be in a utopia."
