A sleeping god, some ancient eldritch deity, beyond your perception and yet all around you. A mortal with beauty beyond any of their species, comparable to the cosmos itself. And an unforgiving house of gods who would never condone a romance between one of them and one of their creations. But shit, that mortal is cute and you don't get many options when it comes to non-assholes up in the cosmos okay? So the deity earns the mortal's love. Unfortunately, they'll have to hide this affair. Also unfortunately, the mortal thinks their lover is mortal like them. Obviously kidnapping and dubiously ethical methods of protecting the mortal as well as breaking the news to them in one of the worst moments possible is a great idea! And that's what happens.

This is gonna get dark and the relationship will be a little morally ambiguous and definitely unsafe in parts of the story. This is not meant to be a completely healthy relationship at first, so don't go wooing people like this.

Sexual stuff is taken to DMs, if it happens at all. I can write smut, but I don't normally do it and I haven't really done it in a roleplay setting so be warned, but I don't mind if you want it or don't want it to get spicy.

More bonus points if the mortal sometimes talks about the really little things they admire about the world (How a flower looked on the way into town, the way the sun caught the water one afternoon) and the god is just kinda… floored… bc they didn't realize there was so much beauty in the teeny tiny details of the world.

Also, I don't really have a preference, I think both would be equally interesting. I'd probably be a little more comfortable as the mortal, but if you really wanna be human I'd be more than happy to step outside my comfort level a little and try a god on for size.
