If the world was ending…//OxO//Sci-Fi Romance~ CLOSED (stalkers welcome :)

When a small mining planet, Zenos, is suddenly the target of a corrupt organization bent on universal control, two students, formerly enemies, find themselves discovering new feelings as they train to fight for their home.

I’m absolutely OBSESSED with sci-fi, and romance, especially when the two are together. And after being absolutely bored for days I decided I’d finally make a roleplay :’)

Here’s the roles I’ve got!

Person A: an engineering/tech student, and very practical. They’ve suddenly been recruited to work for the planet’s military base, helping with technology and weapons.
Person B: a delinquent with no hope for the future is suddenly recruited into the army. They find themselves learning how to fight in space battles and work with weapons they’ve never seen before. Weapons that person A helps to design.

The two had known each other in school, but had hated each other because of their differences. But once they have to work together, they find out they’re not all that different after all.

Name: Suzanna Storm
Nicknames: Zanna (Refer to only by this or else she will shoot you)
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Pansexual
Personality: Zanna is very much a doer rather than a thinker. She has plans for weapons and other engineering projects, but they are no more than rough sketches and ideas most of the work being done while building the actual device. She's practical with a bit of crazy. If everything was left up to her, she would be the one testing her designs, but it's not so she doesn't.
Flaws: Zanna gets frustrated with herself very easily as she's often considered a progeny at what she does. Otherwise, she tends to let her emotions get the better of her after expressing them for a while.
Looks: Short choppy black hair with dyed violet tips, light brown skin, freckles around her cheeks and shoulders, blue-violet eyes, very much a lightly muscled body type, bit of a resting bitch face. The most important part of her looks would be her prosthetic right arm and leg both of which are robotic and colored black with violet accents.
Height: 5'3"
Backstory: Zanna has always been a prodigy at engineering at it has led her to being able to take the best career path possible. Of course, she has made her fair share of mistakes. One such mistake ended up costing her an arm and a leg, literally. She has always done her best to look composed as that was what was expected of her and even to this day, she acts like the smart competent person everyone expects her to be and not the mess she is inside.

Nicknames: Kal (everyone calls him this). Zaq (command calls him this bc his last name is a mouthful). Fuckface (his “friends” call him this because… well, he is one)
Age: 20
Gender: Male (with fluidity)
Sexuality: Bisexual mess ~ with a pref for guys and masc girls B)
Personality: Cocky and stubborn, he almost never listens to rules or instructions. He’s pretty much viewed as a good-for-nothing mess up, and he accepts that. He’s also painfully insecure and very self conscious, often resorting to humor as a getaway from serious topics. He has a very complicated mind and often doesn't understand things when taught practically, but when he does get things, he never tires of trying to get better at them. Definitely more of an emotional person than a pragmatic one.
Flaws: extremely emotional, finds it hard to trust people, often acts out when he doesn't understand certain things. Hooked on the futuristic alien-harvested space drug known as Lustrous D:
Looks: messy, and loosely curled, longish (e-boy style) dark-brown hair, with light chestnut skin. Light honey eyes, average (maybe a little scrawny) build, always looks uninterested. Has a few light scars covering his face, but a lot of prominent scars along his arms and back - he usually wears sweaters to cover them. Usually only wears black :’)
Height: 5’6”
Backstory: was raised in a pretty sucky household. His really nice dad was always working in the mines, leaving him to spend more time with his abusive mom. School was his only escape, and he loved learning but was a little slow and hated the teachers. He eventually grew into a class-clown asshole type, and got terrible grades. Things were definitely not working out, until he got enlisted. Of course he went, as an excuse to leave his mom and maybe even prove himself. Or die. Whichever came first. Now that he’s not with his old highschool buddies, he's more of a loner, more afraid than before, but not afraid to talk back to someone or tell an offensive joke.

The huge ships carrying the fate of hundreds of Zenos residents, slowly descended and lowered their bridges like huge, silver angels of death. Kalen blew a lock of hair out of his face as the ships opened for the young cadets to be locked inside. "Sheesh, thought we'd get a better welcome than that." Kal said as flocks of people were pushed inside. Gabe, the only person Kal recognized in the crows, rolled their eyes and stomped up the ramp. Kal sighed, following reluctantly. Inside was a huge room, kind of like a gym, filled with dropouts and intellectuals. suited guards sorted everyone into their respected groups, the techies, the front liners, the aviators, the chemists… It wasn't long before one of the guards stomped toward Kal, metallic eyes glinting under the harsh synthetic light. "You." Their gruff voice commanded. "You're a enlist, right?" Kal nodded, face deadpan. "You're too skinny for the front. We'll have you by the internal platoon." The guard pointed to a group of sad looking kids, and Kal sighed. At least he wouldn't have to leave the ship.

Zanna was amongst the recruits watching with bated breath as the ship opened up. She followed with the crowds closer to the front than the back in order to get away from the rest as quickly as she could. Unlike a majority of the people here, she assumed, she had been recruited for her skills and reputation. Of course, she had no way to prove that, but hopefully, her mechanical limbs would show her worth plenty. Once in the gym, she was among the first to be sorted into the technology group. She supposed that was where she belonged now. Hopefully, the army had a decent workspace for her.

A loudspeaker erupted through the loud bustling sound of too many people. "OFF WORLDER CADETS PLEASE REPORT TO DOCK STATION B3. ALL STATION CADETS PLEASE REPORT TO HALL T9. THANK YOU." Kal sighs, taking his things and shuffling with his group down the hall

Zanna picked up the bag she had put down and hoisted it over her shoulder. It clanged slightly with the few prototypes Zanna had brought along. She began to follow the rest of the crowd down the hall before she spotted the head of someone she thought she knew back in high school. And she really didn't want to be right about this.

Kal searches for someone he knew. Just someone, when just behind him, his eyes rested on the black haired, purple streaked girl he recognized. He smiles, stepping back a bit. "Hey, its uhh… Suzanna? Right? I think we had biology together a few years back." he says with a sly grin. "what did you get recruited for? Something smart probably."
