(Sorry 'bout not responding right away!)

The other men were in confusion. If they waited, or shot her, the other stranger would shoot their leader. But if they let her go, they would be in trouble for letting a high-level security threat loose. They looked at their leader, who was red in the face.

"Don't let her go!" He screamed.

Fray scowled, and shot the man in the foot. He fell, grasping his foot in pain, and the other man cocked their gun to shoot her. She ducked and shot the three of them neatly in the arm. She dropped the gun and moved over to the leader, taking the key and somehow managing to navigate it to unlock her wrists. She picked all four of their guns, grabbed her bag, and turned to the guy who helped her.

"Thanks, I guess."

@Knick

(It’s fine!)

Jan watched from his spot. He definitely played a part in what had happened, from what he could tell. It was still hard to tell his reaction from all of this - with only his right eye visible. He just stays still and silent, before putting away his handgun. He only seemed to acknowledge her words with a slight nod.

Jan seemed to be thinking things over. Then, without a word, Jan turns away and moves off. He’s done his work - nothing else matters besides getting back home. This was definitely something unusual for Jan to do, to step out like that and do something so bold.

Jan would rather be getting home soon.

With a snort and an eye roll, Fray pulled her hair into a messy ponytail and walked in the opposite direction of the guy.

Well, that was rude, she thought, annoyed. At least she had thanked him. Why had she helped him, anyway? And what gang was he talking about? She shrugged. She'd have to find a place to lie low for a while, as her home was compromised.

@Knick

Jan only spares a glance at her before he’s on his way. He’s not really moving very fast, either. More at an even pace. Mostly because of the headache he’s just got on the left side of his face - he’ll just have to remember to take something whenever he gets back. He falters slightly as he walks, but picks himself back up to pace as if nothing happened.

He lives in the quieter side of town, which he appreciates. Alone, though he could certainly have a second person there; he doesn’t really know anybody who would want to stay with him. Nor does he have any plans for people to stay there.

His thoughts still drift back to that woman and what she was about - the details that the other men had spoken of. But it was just another day, and Jan..Jan didn’t want anything to do with it. Even if he was a little bit - dare I say it, curious.

@PrettyLittlePyro

(What do we want to do now?)

@Knick

(I mean, you could have your character follow mine, as he’s not in that much of a hurry. Or I could try and figure something out. Like maybe he won’t be heading straight home after all. Not sure.)

@PrettyLittlePyro

(Hmm… maybe they could bump into each other again? Maybe when he's doing something with his 'gang,' or whatever?)

@Knick

(He isn’t really in contact with his gang that much, he sort of split apart from them. But I can try to think of some way that they bump into each other again.)

@PrettyLittlePyro

(Okay. Well, thanks! Sorry, my mind is kind of blank right now.)

@PrettyLittlePyro

(Do we still want to do this, or give it up for dead?)

@Knick

(I can’t think of anything, so I would say the latter.)

@PrettyLittlePyro

(Alright :( I can try to respond, but… yeah. Okay. Oh well.)
