ROMEO: Money is nothing when I have you, love.

JULIET: awww

ROMEO: Are you safe texting me right now?

JULIET: he’s sleeping. I feel sort of bad for him.

ROMEO: Sleeping? On a date?

JULIET: we're in his limo. he's exhausted. I told him to get some rest. I think he nearly passed out before I did.

ROMEO: Is it bad I’m happy he’s unconscious and not talking to you?

JULIET: is it bad that I wholeheartedly agree with you on that matter?

ROMEO: As the primary emotional intelligence for this relationship, I’m gonna go with no.

JULIET: 'emotional intelligence'?

ROMEO: Come on, Jules. You know I put the rom in romantic. ;)

JULIET: if you say so….

What she really wanted to send was 'I'm scared, Romeo….' But she didn't, forcing a light-hearted sarcasm into the text to make up for her lack of response.

ROMEO: Any chance I can sneak over tonight? I miss you.

My response was immediate.

JULIET: be in my room and around eleven. my dad is away on some murder mission and the maid leaves at 10:30.

ROMEO: As you wish, love.

JULIET: I can't wait

ROMEO: I can’t either. Any idea when you’ll be home? It’s getting close to 9:45 now.

JULIET: as soon as he wakes up, I guess.

ROMEO: Well, Ill be here as long as you want me to be.

JULIET: I love you

ROMEO: I love you too.

I couldn't climb out of the limo fast enough. Paris insisted on walking me to the door, but as soon as a solid brick wall was between us and I had ensured no servants were in the house, I was tearing up the stairs and flinging my bedroom door open.

I had been waiting for Juliet for around fifteen minutes now, but the relief that swelled in my chest when I heard her bedroom door open made it all worth it as I got up from where I had been perched on her balcony. I walked over to the glass door, impatiently shifting my feet as I waited for her to notice me.
