Blue just shook her head, still laughing as Amara slipped off to chat with friends. She leaned in through the driver's side window, which was down, rifling around. "Somebody's been reading a lot of classic literature."

Ava made a face that Blue couldn't see. "Nope. Just know a foxy lady when I see one."
"False facts, fake news, I refuse to be a victim of Punked." Blue said, balancing on the door to reach further in. Instead of, y'know, just opening the door.
Ava rolled her eyes and leaned back further against the car. Her cigarette still dangled in her fingers, and her earbuds were dangling from underneath her shirt. "Whatever. You like music?"
"Depends on what you mean by that." Blue called, followed by swearing as she almost lost her balance. "I like listening, and occasionally play."
This girl played in instrument? God, now she was hooked. "What genre?" she asked casually.
"Lotta rock." Blue said, turning up the volume on her stereo as one of her Kid Rock CDs began playing. "There's some good eighties music, too."
"I can deal with 80s," she remarked with a sigh. "And rock is good for when I'm pissed."
"Then what exactly do you listen to?" Blue asked as she slid back out, a bottle of bright blue soda in hand as she made a confused face.
Ava looked from the soda to Blue expression and shook her head with a smile. "You're too cute." She pulled out her phone and showed the screen to Blue.
Ava Max
- Anyone But You
- My Way
- Not Your Barbie Girl
- Salt
- So Am I
- Sweet But Psycho
"So like, alt pop?" Blue tilted her head, popping the top off the soda.
"Could say that," she replied, sliding her phone back into her pocket.
(BTW, if you haven't listened to any of those songs, I highly recommend that you do.)
((I'm just gonna go get sucked into an Ava Max wormhole lmao))
Blue stuck her tongue out in thought for a moment. "Valid. Is she all you listen to?"
(I love her music so much!!! XD)
"No, but if I hesitate, I go straight to her," Ava replied, tilting her head back to gaze up at the sky.
"It's always good to have an artist like that." Blue said with a smile, eyes flickering over to Amara and her friends, all camped in or around the bed of some guy's truck.
Ava leaned closer to Blue when she turned her head. "You straight?"
Blue looked back, blinking at the sudden close proximity. "Uh….yes? I don't-I'm not entirely sure." She said, shrugging.
Ava pressed her lips together and studied Blue's face. "I'll make you a deal, a'ight?"
"Um, alright?" Blue looked a bit confused, but shoved her free hand into the pocket of her leather jacket, playing with her list.
Ava hesitated another second, then drew back and shook her head. "Never mind. I'll tell you later."
Blue frowned, but shrugged. "Oookaay…? Hey, d'you know anywhere good for tattoos and piercings?" She figured a subject change might prevent awkward silence.
"Yeah, I know a guy. Why?" Ava asked, her eyes briefly straying to Amara, then back to Blue.
"I…" Blue made a face, before pulling a folded up piece of paper from her pocket and handing it to Ava. "I've got this list, of things to do before I graduate?"
Ava arched her eyebrows curiously and unfolded the paper. Her eyes scanned the list. For some of them, she snorted a bit. "You sure you're up for this stuff?"
"I've got wardrobe change down." Blue commented, taking another drink of her soda. "And yeah, I'd hope so. Or I'll be having some issues with myself."
"I can help you with some of this stuff," she muttered. "Getting drunk?" Her eyes sparkled a little.
"At a party." Blue nodded, and then snorted. "I've missed out on so much."
"Hell yes you have," Ava agreed quietly. "Need any help?" She was going with this girl, whether Blue liked it or not.
Blue opened her mouth to say no, then paused. She had just asked for tips. Maybe she did need help. "Uh, yeah, if you're down. Not all of 'em, obviously, but a few might go a bit smoother."
"Have you ever gotten drunk before?" Ava asked, reading the rest of the list.
