"Do you want me to go down instead, then?" He asked, raising a brow.

"But…won't she see you?" She questioned. "I don't want her to see you. She'll think things."

"She might not see me at all, actually," Rhys shrugged, "Damn, I've already got used to the feeling of being noticed. Look, I'll go down and if she sees me then I'll calmly explain I'm helping you out with your powers and you want to be alone right now. If she doesn't see me well… I'll… scare her off?"

"Elina does not get scared. By anything. Except me. When I basically attacked her. Look, I'm still confused as to how she won't see you. But do what you think is right."

“I think you should talk to her,” He said softly, “She’s your sister, if you exp,sin your situation I’m sure she’ll understand.”

"I…I just can't. I don't know why, but I can't. I can't face her. Not after what happened at the coronation. Not after everything that happened."

“Kallista, listen to me,” Rhys posted hisnhand son her shoulders, “You can. You belived you couldn’t make that snowman and you did. You can talk to her, I believe you can.”

She looked into his eyes, searching for any signs of lying or untruth. She took a deep breath, ready to see her sister. She slightly jumped when the door opened.

Rhys bit his lip, standing a few steps behind Kallista as Elina entered. He wondered if she would see him, but didn't think too much into it.

Kallista got into a sort of position, trying to relaxed and comfortable. "Whoa," Elina breathed as she saw her sister.
"Hi, Elina."

Rhys staff over his shoulders, kicking one foot back and forth a little.

"This place is…amazing," Elina continued, speechless.
"Thank you. But…you can't stay."
"Why not?"
"I'll hurt you."

“Kallista…” Rhys muttered, “Say you’ll come back once you’ve got a grasp on your powers.”

"You're my sister, you couldn-"
"Yes! I could! You don't remember, but I almost killed you when we were kids. It was an accident, but I can't go through that."

Rhys facepalmed, groaning softly.

She turned to him, annoyed. "Look, Rhys. I'm trying to solve my issues the best I can. You can't judge me. You don't have a family."

Rhys blinked once and took a small step back, "Yeah. Because I don't know what it's like to loose them and I totally don't want to watch the same thing happen to someone else."

"Um…Who are you talking to?" Elina asked. Kallista suddenly remembered that she was there.
"Um, you can't see him. It's…weird."

"Yeah. I'm weird. A freak, call it whatever you like… see if I care." He muttered, swinging his staff over his shoulders again.

"Kallista, come back to Laveria."
"I can't, Elina. Do you think I would be here if I wanted to be there? I ran for a reason. I don't want to be Queen. You'll be better than me."

This time, Rhys held back his face palm.

"What? No!" Elina yelled. "Kallista, I need you!"
"Right now I need to be alone," She fired back, turning away. "I'll…I'll come back when I'm ready."

"Calm yourself, Kallista… you powers react to emotions, too. If you keep this up you might hurt her and I know you don't want that."

"I am trying to be calm, Rhys," She said, slowly starting to walk up the stairs. She hoped that Elina didn't follow her, she couldn't handle anything more.

"Well you're not doing a good job." He replied, following after her.

"You're not really helping!" She hisses at him.
"Kallista, please!" Elina yelled. "Come back!"
"I will when I'm ready!"

Rhys rolled his eyes, falling into step beside Kallista but staying quiet.

"Look I just…I need time to myself," Kallista said to Elina. "I don't expect you to understand, but right now I just need to focus on myself. Laveria will do just fine without me until then."

Rhys chewed on his bottom lip with a frown, wishing Elina could see and hear him.

"But I need you!"
"No! You don't! You survived perfectly fine without me for years."
