It Fucking Sucks To Be A Vampire (needs two people! Preferably poly?)

So I stole this prompt (shown below) from @SupernaturalSyGuyEdt (thanks for letting people use such cool prompts, dude!) that I expanded on a bit, now with vampires and polyamory.

Years or months ago Character-A and Character-B were lovers. Character-B goes on a trip/off to war or something (Idk, you decide), disappears or has an accident and is presumed dead. Later Character-A meets Character-C and they eventually enter a romantic relationship, a relationship that becomes complicated when Character-B shows up alive and well.

My prompt:
Character A and Character B were deeply in love. Sure, Character B would disappear on mysterious alleged business trips in the middle of the night that seemed like they were planned at the last minute, and Character B also had a shed that Character A was never allowed in, and secrets abound that A respected out of love for B. But when B disappears and never comes back, presumed dead, A moves on. But B comes back one day, alive and well and… also a vampire. And it turns out Character C, A’s new lover, is the vampire who turned B. B was working for a supernatural monster-killing agency, but upon becoming a monster themself, is forced on the run. But they wanted to take A with them. What a surprise they got!

Rules are andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)’s, no smut, have fun, and gore, swearing, potentially triggering themes and violence may occur.

We can either use a template or just jump in lol.

And yes this will be poly for my little aroace poly heart. Don’t judge me.

I’ll post a starter now, one minute!

The first thing about Fitzgerald Bennet was that he was a vampire. Now, that may not seem obvious, due to the fact that his fangs were retractable, he could go out in the sun, and greatly enjoyed garlic, but he was. Vampires liked you to think they had those weaknesses in order to evade you, to seem normal, but they really honestly didn’t. The second thing was that he was very much in love. And Fitzy didn’t want to be out of love any time soon, so he hid his vampire status from his partner. However, he still had to feed, which is how he accidentally turned a vampire hunter. It was nothing, he’d definitely never see the hunter again so why care? He sat in bed with his partner, ready to fall asleep, when there was a knock at the door. Who could be calling this late?

Liam Relain was a human and as far as he was aware, so was his boyfriend Fitzgerald, or Fitz as he called him. Currently, he was laying on his boyfriend's chest, pretending to read a book when in fact he was already half asleep. His eyes fluttered open when he heard the knock, he was a light sleeper so he wasn't surprised that something woke him up, but who would be at the door at this time?
"Mm, Fitzy, did'ja invite anyone over? Should've told me, I would've saved some dinner."

Alexander Chastain drummed his fingers against his crossed arms, waiting for the door to open. It had been a couple of years since he had last left Liam, not exactly explaining when he would be back, or why he would be leaving to begin with. But now he was finally back. As he waited he yawned a little bit, his fangs peaking out of his mouth. He was still getting used to his new form, although it had almost been a year of him being like this, but still, it was sort of weird. As he waited for Liam to come to the door to let him in, he just sighed, curious as to how his boyfriend would react to him when he figured out about his new form.

“No, I didn’t invite anyone over. I’ll go see who it is.” Fitzy said, pulling on one of Liam’s shirts and walking to the door. When he saw who it was, he paled more than he thought was already possible in his own pale form. “Shit. What are you doing here?” he asked, stepping back away from the door and the man standing through it.

Liam just grumbled at the loss of warmth and went back to staring at his book with tired eyes. When he heard Fitz's words he pulled himself out of bed, grabbing a sweatshirt and sweatpants and throwing them on as he made his way into the hall, not able to see who was at the door yet. "Who is it babe?"
