Liena sat in the chair, staring blankly ahead. A doctor had came in and told her that she should expect someone to come in the next 5 minutes. Yeah, right, she thought. They think I'm hopeless…
Tyler ruffled his hair a little before slipping his hands into his pockets. H released a breath, trying to calm his pounding heart before he entered the room with his classic day brightening smile, "Hola!" He said once he spotted Liena sitting there.
She looked at him with hollow eyes, but didn't reply.
His smile faulted a little and he walked over, crouching down and eventually sitting on the floor cross legged in front of her, "I'm Tyler."
She watched him, but she didn't speak.
He sighed and leaned back on his hands, "They said you were a tough case, hermosa, but can you at least say something, por favor?"
She swallowed and licked her lips before speaking quietly. "My name is Liena."
"Nice to meet you, Liena," He smiled softly, "This might sound stupid, and I know it, but how are you feeling?"
She narrowed her eyes slightly.
"Yeah yeah, I know. But can you please answer me?"
"How do you think?" she asked in a heavy, soft voice.
"No no, this isn't me answering for you."
"I feel sick."
"Sick how? In the stomach?"
"In my heart." Each word she said was heavy and it slammed against the floor.
"I'm sorry, hermoso, but a broken heart can only be fixed with time, talking and love," He sighed a little, "I know you might not want to talk, but I'm here to listen."
