King Melanus laughed. "Okay, fine. Now, do come in," said Melanus, gesturing for Neru to come inside. Neru walked into the King's house. "You're supposed to be up at 7, not 9, Melanus! Don't you know how bad that makes you look?!" Neru exclaimed. "But Neruuuu, I was sleeeepyyyyy~" Melanus replied flirtatiously, trying to sway Neru into letting this whole thing slide. Neru didn't budge, of course.

"Fine, I know I know, it's no good for a King to sleep in…" Melanus said, finally admitting to what Neru had called him out for. "Good. Now, you need to get your robe on. Remember, the mannequins are expecting you," Neru replied. Just as Neru said this, the mannequins began coming out of their homes, all aligning perfectly in the center of the circle made by the homes.

King Melanus nodded and put on his robe, then left his house, Neru following behind him. "Go on, Melanus. Go do the thing," Neru pushed Melanus forward. "Yeah yeah, I know," King Melanus replied. Clearly, Neru had a personal connection with King Melanus, because it's a known fact that nobody would dare talk to any king like Neru talks to King Melanus.

Neru waved back at Haruo, then kept pushing Melanus forward. Melanus read off a page of daily announcements to the mannequins, and after Melanus finished, the mannequins went back into their homes. Neru snickered. "God, Melanus, you were so nervous. You'd think a king could do better than that, hm?" Neru asked, then nudged Melanus' hip with his elbow. Melanus groaned. "S-Shut it-"

Melanus sighed. "Gosh, why was that so hard-" Melanus said as he and Neru were walking back to his home. "Probably because those mannequins kept on chattering on like a swarm of talkin' honeybees," Neru replied.

Melanus opened the door of his house and walked inside, Neru following behind him. "So, do you have any more plans today, Melanus?" Neru asked, Melanus shutting the door behind Neru after he entered the house. "No, not quite. I am rather hungry though… Could y-" Melanus began, Neru cutting him off to say, "No, I'm not making breakfast for you again."

Melanus whined as Neru crossed his arms. "But I- I don't know how to do it!!" Melanus yelled, fake-sobbing. "Melanus, for the last time, you're 25. You should know how to make your own breakfast, you big oaf!" Neru yelled back, and the two got into a shouting match with each other.

Neru and Melanus continued arguing, not paying mind to their surroundings. Eventually, they quieted down a little but still continued arguing.

Neru and Melanus were still at Melanus' house, so nobody answered the door. Soon enough, Neru walked out of Melanus' house and huffed. "Damn that bubblehead idiot…" he muttered.

Neru didn't see Haruo at first, seeing as he's blind. He heard the knocking and walked towards the sound. "Hello? Is someone there?" The blueish white of his eyes sparkled in the sunlight.

"Mmh… Why are you, a total stranger, knocking on my door?" Neru asked, tilting his head.

"Wh- Uh… What's sugar?" Neru asked once more. "Whatever it is… We don't have it on this planet."

"Mmh… Okay then. You can leave now. I have stuff to do," Neru said, swinging his door open and shutting it behind him. He locked the door, then went up to his room.
