"You're in danger." She countered, motioning to him, "As far as I know you're not in a cryopod."

"Air-lock doors." He gestured to the doors, which was actually true.

She shrugged, "Still, you'd be bored out of your mind if you had to stay in this room until you died though."

He studied her face for a long moment. He saw she was determined to leave and felt clingy for trying to stop her.

She rolled her eyes but shrugged, “Alright basketball boy, but don’t to anything stupid.” Anneliese looked at her plate of food on the floor with mock sadness and headed out, swallowing the nervousness that started forming from what could’ve hit the ship.
