Aki worked quietly as his master hummed to himself as he placed all sorts of potions and concoctions along the higher shelves. The shop was very quiet today, which relieved Aki. Large crowds of people made him nervous. He smiled a little at his master, Zephyr. Zephyr caught him staring and the white haired male instantly lowers his gaze. "Are you leaving again?" He asks sadly, knowing that look. "Yes. I'll be leaving shortly. I can take care of things here." He says gently. "You're trained well enough to serve our customers, correct?" He asks gently, ruffling the kitsune's hair gently. He smiled and nods. "Of course. I'll handle it from here." He says softly and Zephyr nods before exiting the shop. Aki sighed and continued cleaning. He wandered the downstairs and hummed to himself as his tail swished back and forth. He was only half kitsune, only having the ears and tail. He could shift into a fox but it was painful, so he rarely did that.
A small red haired boy walked into the shop. He was actually a decent bit older than he looked, but at only five feet tall, it was pretty hard to tell. (What age range are we using?) He started to look around and he seemed to be alone, although he wasn't meant to be. He'd given the guards the slip and knew his father would be furious about it, but he didn't much care. He needed ingredients to practice potion making, as it was an important skill in his mind, and this seemed to be the only place to get them. He surveyed the shelves, standing on his toes to see things higher up.
(Say late teens, young adults? 18-22)
Aki heard the person enter the shop and he perked before walking out. "Ah. Hello." He greets warmly. "What brings you to my masters fine shop." He says quietly. He had a small smile on his face as his ears flicked back and forth, his tail swaying. "How may I help you today?" he asks curiously. He settles down on a small plush chair and brushes pure white hair from his face to reveal bright, sky blue eyes that were warm, watery depths of mystery.

Cas looked up at the sound of another person's voice. The owner? He wondered to himself. Maybe… he's quite young, after all… "Er, yes… I need some faeflower dust, a bit of dragon wing, and… a few gryphon feathers, I think. Have you got any?" He trained his eyes up onto Aki expectantly.
Aki nods and smiles a bit. "Yes." He walks to the shelves and hums faintly to himself as he does so. He picked out the ingredients. "Oh, you came just in time. We're almost out of dragon wing." he takes the three ingredients and places them together. "Is there anything else I can do for you?" He asks happily and smiles as he packs them up and hands them to the male.
"I don't think so…" Cas pulled some coins out of his pocket, but dropped them when he was startled by his guards slamming the door open.
"Prince Casper! There you are!" Cas went pale and glanced back over at Aki nervously.
Aki starts when the guards entered the shop. He backed away nervously, guards always making him feel tense. "Thank… thank you for your purchase, sir." He whispers softly, his ears flattened against his head, his tail wrapping around his leg. He hated being around guards. It reminded him all to well of being separated from his mother. He gently pushed the ingredients into his hands.
Cas nodded and gave the coins to Aki, managing to take the bag before the guards started dragging him away. "Thank you!" He called back into the shop right before the door snapped shut. He huffed indignantly and struggled against the guards' hold, but they wouldn't slacken their grip. "Let go of me! I'm eighteen years old and should be allowed to make purchases on my own!"
"It's for your own safety, Prince. You aren't to run off." Cas groaned, looking frustrated.
Aki waved faintly to the prince being dragged away. He took a trembling breath. At least he hadn't been arrested for "housing the run away prince". He carefully gathered the coins and placed them into the safe. He hummed to himself as he tried to calm his breathing.
(How should we meet again? Royal banquet? He's old enough for his parents to try and betroth him to someone)

Cas was sitting in the throne he'd been assigned, looking very unhappy. He'd been forced to neaten up his hair with gel and wear a small crown.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the banquet!" The king announced in a fake cheery voice. "Today, we're looking for young princesses for Prince Casper to marry." Cas looked away at this, feeling even worse. "Enjoy yourselves!"
