“It’s the End of the World as We Know It” (O/O)

They wear our faces, but they are not human. Aliens have invaded earth, and the last few survivors are either gathering and trying to fight them off or avoiding the aliens and just trying to stay alive. The world has been thrown into anarchy and chaos reins as the aliens fight a battle for power within their own ranks. Some of them want to destroy the humans completely and some don’t. Can the humans survive to find out who wins?

So I just kinda want a good old-fashioned apocalypse rp that hopefully doesn’t die off after a couple days! I’d like it to be romance, but it doesn’t have to be if you’d prefer otherwise. It can be two humans or a human and an alien. My character is going to be a human girl. If we do romance I’m fine with either gxg or gxb.

Name: Alison “Allie” Lindsay
Age: 19
Species: human
Appearance: Allie has chest-length, curly blonde hair and big, blue eyes. She is short (5’ 2”) and has a round face with a sprinkling of freckles across her nose and cheeks. She has freckles on her shoulders as well. Allie has fair skin (almost pale) and a wide nose and full lips.
Personality: Despite her sweet and innocent appearance, Allie is a take no shit kind of girl. She is clever and creative. Allie doesn’t like to include others in her plans very often because she doesn’t trust easily. She can also be very talkative and loud when she feels like it.
Brief backstory: Allie was actually quite spoiled until her parents split up several years before the apocalypse. She quickly adapted to survive in her newfound world after her mother died and she hasn’t heard any news about her father or his family.

Appearance: Logan is tall, with pale blue eyes. His skin is white, with a bit of a tan. His hair is black, with, strangely, a few strands of white near his temples. He has a bit of scarring, along with some tattoos.
Personality: Logan is a bit more of a deliberate person, doing most things with a purpose in mind. He is typically a calm, gentle person, vut can also have a bit more of a temper. He also is very stubborn.

Allie walked out of the abandoned store with her hands full, glancing around to make sure she was alone. She had been surviving like this for—she wasn’t sure how long. Weeks? Months?

Allie stopped dead when she heard something, hoping she was just being paranoid. Her eyes darted across the small clearing. “Hello? I know you’re there,” she snapped, pulling out her pistol.

Logan came around the corner, and held up his hands. "Hello." He said calmly, his voice strangely accented. "I am sorry if I have alarmed you; that was not my intention." His pale blue eyes flickered over her, and he pressed his lips together. Human. So… human. He thought.

“Who are you and what are you doing?” Allie demanded, not lowering the gun. She blew a strand of hair out of her eye. She assessed the newcomer with narrowed eyes. He looked human enough, but that didn’t mean anything.

His eyes flickered to the gun. He kept his hands up. "Logan Arae. I don't want anything." He replied, watching her carefully. He looked at her carefully.

Allie let out a harsh, humorless laugh. “I’m sure,” she retorted. “How do I know you’re not an alien?” She didn’t lower the pistol, glancing around in order to see where she could hurriedly leave if need be. Her stuff from the store was still on the ground next to her, where she’d dropped it when she picked up the gun.

(just realized that i never mentioned that she put her stuff down lol)

Logan blinked. "I suppose you cannot." He replied slowly. "Although I do not mean you any harm." Yet. Unless I receive orders specifying otherwise. He kept his hands uo, watching her blankly. It was almost as if there was no emotion in him. Just a flat plane.

Allie looked at him suspiciously, lowering the gun but still keeping her hand on the trigger. His emotionless stare unnerved her. She wanted to believe he was a human, but his emotionless gaze, and her own suspicion of strangers, made her doubtful. “Sure, Logan Arae,” she replied, her voice thick with sarcasm. “And why are walking around in broad daylight with the aliens crawling the planet?”

Logan shrugged. "Why not?" He replied. "I have a weapon on me, and i can defend myself if needed. Besides, it isnt as if there is anywhere else to go." He added dryly, looking at her and wondering why it mattered so much to her why he was walking.

“I guess,” she replied, though something about Logan didn’t sit right with her. Then again, he was the first person she’d seen in a while. “I’m Allie.” She wasn’t going to give him her full name, though she supposed it probably wouldn’t make a difference anyway.

Logan dipped his head in a nod. "It is nice to meet you, Allie." He replied, dropping his hands to his sides. I wonder what she would say if she knew what i was…probably she would just blow my brains out. He sighed softly.

“Are you okay?” Allie asked, still holding her pistol was also a bit concerned. Logan seemed upset. “How long have you been by yourself?”

He cocked his head. "Yes, i am fine. I have been by myself for…i am not sure how long." He shrugged slightly. "And what about you? How long have you been alone?"

Allie shrugged. “I stopped counting after two months,” she admitted. “But since the aliens invaded, I guess. You just seemed upset.” He was definitely hard to read.

He nodded. "The aliens." He muttered, shaking his head. He looked at her. "I wasn't, don't worry." He shrugged slightly. "Just thinking about things." Like how you humans would shoot me on sight.

“Oh, okay, of course,” Allie said. He was either acting or she was just projecting her current emotional state onto others. Probably the latter. “The aliens made things…hard for everyone, you know? For lack of a better word.” She sighed. Whatever. If he was human, he would understand.

He hesitated, then nodded. "Yes, i…guess they did." He shrugged slightly, raking a hand through his strange hair. Strange, because of the white strands that had already appeared, despite his youth.

(By the way, how fast do you want her to discover he's an alien?)

“You guess?” Allie asked, raising an eyebrow. “Maybe it wasn’t as bad for you, but everyone I know is either dead or missing, and I’m assuming that most of us have it the same way, right?”

(idk i kinda want to wait a bit before that happens and get her to trust him or at least stop being so suspicious of him)
