Cat followed straightening her shirt just Incase anyone’s down there. She kept a slight distance from Lotus. “What do you want me to attempt to make?”

“French toast would be fun, but I’ll stick with simple,” Lot responded smiling, “Bacon and eggs.”
Cat nodded. “Fine bacon and eggs it is,” she said walking to the kitchen. ”and I an cook anything it just doesn’t always taste good.”
“Well see about that,” Lotus responded grinning. They were looking around for Myrah or their parents not seeing either. Though they spotted two notes on the fridge and figured they were all out.
once Cat realizes no one was in the kitchen she kissed Lot in the side of the cheek. “Ok you sit down and I’ll cook,” she said directing them to a stool.
Lot sat on the stool resting their head in their hands, “Mmkay. Let me know if you need help.”
Cat smiled. “Ok but I don’t want you out of that seat unless you see smoke,” she said as she put the bacon on a pan and started with the eggs.
Lotus laughed and watched Cat, "Whatever you say."
Cat kept cooking. Didn’t seem like anything is burning. She leaned in the counter as she cooked.
Lotus hummed and closed their eyes. They never thought they would be doing this or even acting like this.
Cat plated the food. The bacon was extra crispy but other than that it seemed ok. Cat placed a plate in front of Lot and on at the seat next to them.
Lot smile and looked at it. Their smile turned to a grin, "Hey! You did it."
“Yep didn’t even burn down the house!” She said. She sat down and took a bite of her eggs. She made a face but tried to cover it with her hand.
Lot laughed a little as Cat made a face. They went for the safer option of bacon taking a bite of it, "How are the eggs?"
“A little…salty,” she said moving her hand. She went for the bacon. It was fine other than being burnt.
Lot was grinning and continued to eat the bacon. They took a moment before biting into the eggs. They made a slight face, but didn't think they were that bad.
Cat ate the rest of her food. Even all of the eggs. "So how did I do?" She asked. She leaned over and kissed their cheek.
Lot hummed as they finished up their plate as well. They had managed to get through it all even though they were used to having a lighter breakfast, "Decent. It was edible."
Cat smiled. "Thanks,?" She said. She stood up and took both of their plates to the sink.
"You're welcome," Lot responded standing up with Cat. They had a smile on.
Cat turned around and kissed them lightly. “So what now?” She asked.
Lot hummed and kissed her back. They thought for a moment, "We could go back to my room and cuddle, but you need to leave soon right?"
Cat sighed. “Yeah I do. I should have another hour before I really got to go. Why don’t we watch some tv and cuddle?” She asked.
"Sounds good," Lot smiled and leaned against Cat just a little bit. They gestured over to the TV, "It's right over there."
Cat smiled and took their hand. She walked them over to the couch. She sat down.
Lotus sat down next to Cat and grabbed for the remote. They turned it on and saw the Cooking channel was up, of course, it was.
Cat rested her head on their shoulder and watched the tv. She didn’t really care what was on as long as she was close to Lot.
Lotus snuggled up against Cat and started to go through the channels, "Let me know if you want me to stop."
“We can watch whatever,” she said holding their hand. She played with their fingers slightly.
"Okay," Lot stopped at some random nature show. They hummed and nuzzled against Cat.
