Olive smiled and fell back onto her bed. "Yeah, I love it… most of them still smell like you…" She said before her cheeks flushing a little. She realized that sounded kind of strange since they only got together the day before.

“Really? And you love that?” She smirked, laughing softly. “Why don’t I have anything of yours?” Ana asked, sitting and laying her head on Olive’s lap.
"Huh, I don't know… You can take something of mine if you want, as long as it's none of my favorite things." Olive said, smiling. She bent over and kissed Ana then started softly playing with her hair.
“Give me something. Surprise me. Just as long as it’s not your favorite thing.” She said, laughing softly and gazing up at Olive lovingly.
"Hmm, okay… I have the perfect thing, I think." Olive said excitedly. She glanced up at the clock then back to Ana. "Hey, you should probably get going so you're not late for practice."
“Yeah, yeah. Can I pick you up at six tonight?” She asked, standing up and taking a couple minutes to get ready. She put her hair up into a ponytail and took Olive’s hands, pulling her close.
"Definitely! I'll be here, waiting." She said happily. She looked up at Ana and smiled. "Have fun, if you need anything ask me, it may take ten minutes for me to get to the school, but I'll come."
“I’ll be fine, but thank you.” She grinned, leaning down and kissing her. “I’ll see you tonight.” She grabbed her coat and started to leave the house, glancing back at Olive with a smile.
"See ya.. Love you!" Olive said with a smile as she watched Ana leave. The second she heard the front door close, she fell back on her bed and squealed very quietly to herself. She was the happiest she's been in a while, and it was all because of Ana.
Ana has never smiled this much in one day. Her teammates though she was high or drunk or something.
The time had come to pick up Olive and she was oddly anxious. She drove to her house and walked to the front, slightly confused. What am I supposed to do? I mean it’s no different to when I usually come here but I practically asked her on a date..
Olive had dressed up a little more than normal, with dark wash skinny jeans, a long-sleeved floral print button-up shirt, and her tall black boots. She almost nervously paced around her living room. She was also confused why. It was her best friend- now girlfriend- that she had gone to dinner with millions of time before, just now it was a date.
Ana paused for a second before texting Olive telling her she was there. She leaned against her car, highly confused and flustered.
Olive felt her phone vibrate and she quickly checked it. She took in a quick breath as she read it. Her heart started beating a little faster as she grabbed her coat and opened the front door. She saw Ana leaning against her car and smiled.
Ana stood up straighter and smiled a little. “Uh..hi, again.” She took Olive’s hand, squeezing it a little. “How’ve you been?”
Olive laced her fingers with Ana's. "Hi. I missed you, but besides that I was good. How was volleyball?" She asked while still smiling at Ana.
“It was good enough.” She replied quietly, leaning down and kissing Olive’s cheek. “They all thought I was going crazy.”
Olive smiled and giggle a little before kissing her back. "You ready to go?" Olive asked.
Ana nodded, “You look beautiful.”
She murmured before getting into the car with Olive. “Play something.” She said, handing her her phone.
“I liked the first one better than anything else you usually play.” She laughed gently, glancing over at Olive. Shes so cute when she blushes..
"I'm glad! I really like that song, it's one of my favorites." Olive said smiling. She put on a station of the artist of that song and stared out the window. It was getting dark so the city lights were out and that was one of her favorite things.
Ana glanced over at her as they stopped at a stoplight, admiring her soft smile. She spaced out staring at Olive and didn’t notice the light turn green. “Shit..” She muttered after getting honked at a couple times from behind her.
Olive giggled a little and her smile grew. The city was so beautiful, she was so glad to live in one. But she was even more glad to have Ana as her girlfriend. It was the best feeling in the world.
They pulled up to the restaurant. It was pretty nice, but casual. Ana got out of the car and opened Olive’s door for her, unable to keep a smile off of her face.
Olive smiled and got out of the car, thanking Ana as the left the car. She laced her fingers with Ana's as they walked up to the restaurant.
They were seated near the back of the restaurant next to a large window and given menus. Ana kept their hands intertwined as she scanned the menu.
Olive did the same. She always took a while to decide what to eat since she liked trying new things but was also worried about something new being a disappointment. "Do you know what you're getting? Because I don't."
Ana shook her head. She wasn’t very good at making decisions when it came to food but usually at pretty healthy. “Most everything here is good. You’ll like what you get.” She reassured Olive, knowing she was worried.
Olive smiled, "Thanks, that's good to know." She kept looking at the menu as she leaned her head on Ana's shoulder.
Ana let go of her hand and slipped her arm around Olive’s waist. “Decided yet?” She asked, closing her menu and gazing down at Olive.
