Large Bored (OPEN!!!)

"You're afraid of thunder. I get it now." He blinked a few times, putting his hands on his knees awkwardly.

"What's so bad about it? Other than the noise, of course."

(Sorry, I fell asleep)
"I-I don't know, it just bothers me" she replied, peeking out from her blanket

He pushed hair to the side again and stared at a candle flame for a bit, still slightly confued.

"I was stuck in a storm before and I didn't know where I was and that's how I developed a fear of them" she sputtered out, talking so fast that if he wasn't paying attention he wouldn't have heard.

He was overwhelmed for a moment, leaning back slightly. "Oh. That makes sense, I guess."

"Yea" was all she replied with, her gaze shifting over to the flickering flame atop the candle. "What if it never stops?" she asked, her gaze still fixed on the flame.

"The storm? Impossible. It's over land at this point, so it doesn't have the warm ocean feeding it water vapor. It'll be gonna in another two days or so." He scratched his cheek, adding in his head I hope.

She nodded her head slightly, trying to convince herself that what he was saying was the truth. She was just overly worrisome about this, being a worrisome person in general.

"Do you wanna dance?" he asked, reaching for his guitar again. "You always seem pretty happy when you dance."

"Yea sure" she replied, having danced with him before. She quickly slipped on her tattered pointe shoes, a small smile coming across her face as soon as she had them on.

He stood up with the guitar in hand, setting it gently against the far side wall and out of their way. "I'll try not to step on your feet again."

"Please do" she laughed, taking his hand in hers and playing some music on her phone in the corner of the room.

"Alright, what do I do?" This was the third or forth time they've done this and he was still clueless.

"Just," she hopped up on demi-pointe and then pointe, smiling as she did. "Follow me" she purred, leading him to a small dance to the music.

He followed the best he could, completely flat-footed and clumsy.

She laughed when he almost fell over, "How about you take a break mr.two right feet" she laughed, going back down to her flat foot.

"I'm more into making music to dance for." He laughed back.

"I can tell" she muttered, going back up on point and spinning slowly, her hands gently placing his on her waist.

He blushed slightly, happy for once that the candle barely gave off any light.

She lifted up one leg as she spun, careful not to kick him. She finished soon, looking up at him when she had. They stayed like that for a moment, her eyes soft in the candlelight.

His blush deepened slightly, and for a moment the thought of kissing her flashed through his head. Sadly, the storm let out another thunderous BOOM! that ruined the mood and surprised him so bad he stumbled into her.

She completely lost her balance when he stumbled forward onto her, making her fall back with him onto of her. A huge blush spread across her face as his hands wrapped around her waist to try and stabilize them before they fell, her hands going to the back of her head to protect it.

"I am sooo sorry," he sputtered out, pulling his arms away and stepping back.

"Don't be" she laughed, shaking slightly out of fear, "W-wait" she whisper-yelled her only balance being put on him. As he stepped back she fell over onto him

They both fell to the ground with a thump, Eli laying spread eagle on the concrete floor. What a fucking mess, he thought, deciding it was best to just stay down.

"Oh my god! Is your head ok?" she asked, sitting up in panic. She hadn't realized it but when she sat up she was almost directly on his lap, straddling it.

"Yeah, I'm fine. My ass took all of the force." He continued to stare at the ceiling, mostly oblivious to what she was doing.

She laughed slightly, grabbing him by his forearm and pulling him up to make sure he wasn't bleeding anywhere. "I'm so sorry, I'm just a clutz… but you already knew that" she muttered, messing with his hair to check for any wet spots.

"I promise you, I'm fine," he said, although he didn't stop her from playing with his hair again.
