Style: black skinny jeans and a black hoodie. usually wears black combat boots but on occasion wears converse. has his left ear pierced.
Personality: Bipolar, Emo
Likes: Ukeleles, looking at art, and kind people
Dislikes: Abusive people, bullies, fights in general from experience, and Really big groups. (Small ones are ok.)
Background: His parents died when he was 15. The last words he said was from a horrible fight with them

Appearance: Melanie is about 5’4” and 110lbs. She has light brown hair that reaches her mid-back that tends to drift in front of her face. She has a stout rather than a curvy build, and she’s usually seen in just a shirt and pants, maybe a jacket or a coat in colder weather. She doesn’t usually wear skirts or dresses unless it’s an occasion.
Personality: Melanie has a slight anger issue, and she judges people too quickly, often avoiding most people. She’s relatively smart, and she’s hoping to be an author. In any situation, she’s most likely to take the logical route than an emotional one. She tends to be cold towards strangers, and she’s slow to trust people. The friends that she does have, however, she is very loyal to.
Likes: Music (specifically Marshmello, Alan Walker, and Pop), Writing, Reading, Drawing, and doing Track (specifically sprints)
Dislikes: Bullies, Rap music, Snobs, and Ignorant People
Background: Melanie came from a decent, constructed family. She’s an only child, and her parents divorced when she was 8. Her mother remarried when she was 11. From ages 4-8 she was bullied, and she stood up for herself eventually, and the result of that lead to her being more cold towards people because of her insecurities that someone would make fun of her. She’s currently in college, just barely scraping by with the money that she makes as a cashier, where she has to pretend to like people and help them. She might not like it, but it gives her some social skills.

Melanie sighed as she sat down in a booth in a local diner. It wasn't anything too fancy; some of the booths were torn, showing their old age more than others, and the smell of burgers came from the kitchen. Melanie didn't mind, though. In fact, she liked the small restaurants, the ones that weren't busy all the time. After ordering something to drink (Sprite if you must know), she started to doodle in her notebook while listening to music using the earbuds she had in her jacket's right pocket. Melanie soon found herself bobbing her head to the music, lost in her own world of drawing fantasy and listening to music, taking sips of her drink in between.

Landyn walked in. He was having a mood swing today. Normally he's the Happy go lucky type. He goes up and orders food. He tried to be polite but just came off as sad and broken. When he got his drink he thanks her and goes to sit down with his music sheets.

Melanie catches Landyn in her sight and gives him a slight nod. She wasn't sure if he saw her, but it's better to be nice than not at all, but when it comes down to it, Melanie prefers honesty and respect over everything else. She found sugarcoating things to be worthless.

He waves at her and sighs. "H-Hello…" He took a drink and tried not to seem like the world was going to end. This wasn't like to him.

"Hm?" Melanie takes out an earbud and her expression was of slight confusion. "Oh, hi." Melanie gave him a half-wave and she returned to drawing, still keeping an earbud in her right ear.

He shrugged and walked off. She's busy He goes to sit in the back by himself.
