Legacy High // 3/3 // CLOSED

Legacy High is the place where children of fairy tales go to school. You're either a Royal or a Rebel. Royals are the sons/daughters of royalty - such as Aurora or Snow White - or leaders of tribes - such as Pocahontas or Moana. Rebels are the sons/daughters of all villains, from the Evil Queen - the evilest and most feared of all - to the troll that lives under the bridge. Rebels are also people who don't fit into the Royal category. For example, the son of the Fairy Godmother might be considered a Royal, but the daughter of Esmeralda and Phoebus might be considered a Rebel. Every student longs for the day when they join generations of their family and become the next…whatever they should be. The day they sign the Storybook of Legacy and see their future. Legacy Day. So far, everyone has signed the book. Everyone has followed tradition. But this year? This year is different.

Yeah, this is kinda based on Ever After High but like they won't exist and Ever After High like isn't a thing, if you get my gist.
I don't really care who many people want to join, but not more than two (making it three including myself).
Either way, it's not gonna be romance.
I will post a template when someone wants to join.

Btw your character has to be from a traditional fairy tale. For example: Hans Christian Anderson, Brothers Grimm, etc.

(Yeah I should be able to get you a sample, but that would have to wait a while since I'm out of town in a place where I have limited access to internet and wifi. I would also have to find a good one since my writing in english (I'm Swedish) is… well, not bad, but a bit more limited than what native speakers could write. I get the thing about traditional stories, so I can find another role. And about how long I will be gone… about a week or two. So… maybe I can stalk for now and join later if there are any spots left?)

Sexuality: Doesn’t really care, most likely asexual or aromantic
Appearance: If someone was to look at Mari and her father side by side, it is clear that she is his daughter. She has a pale tan, and quite a few freckles lay across her nose. Her eyes are a crystal blue, and occasionally has an aqua tone. Her hair is curly and light brown, with highlights running through it. The highlights change naturally from day to day, a side-affect of her crazy. But the highlights are typically purple, blue and aqua.
Style: Mari has a very steampunky look. Her shoes are easily her favourite part of her look.
Personality: Mari is quite cooky. She is smart, but what she tries to say is often lost. She speaks in riddles sometimes, a habit between her and her dad. She is kind and sweet, but she does often get side-tracked by things. She loves to experiment, and it sometimes has weird effects

Background: Mari used to live in Wonderland. When the Evil Queen started to block Wonderland from Lucendia, a bunch of Wonderlandians managed to escape. This included: Mari, Mad Hatter, Crimson Heart and Lynx Cheshire. Since Crimson and Lynx are the only other Wonderlandians in Lucendia other than her dad, the three of them are really close.
Power/s: She doesn’t really have any. Unless you count her madness.

Appearance: Aaron has messy red hair that looks permanently a bit wind blown. He has sea green eyes with long lashes and wears black hipster glasses and braces. Aaron has fair skin with a bit of a tan, and is average height.
Style: His typical outfit is a white shirt with sea green jeans. He also wears a denim jacket with a fish painted on the back and sea green and purple sneakers.
Personality: Aaron is caring and kind and helpful. He usually prefers to alone to being with people. He is introverted and likes to read. Even though he is mostly introverted he still has a lot of friends who he enjoys being with though he doesn't like crowds. He has a bit of claustrophobia, and being in a crowd doesn't exactly do that much good. Aaron likes to help people and can come up with good ideas. He gets things done and has a lot of energy.
Likes: reading, spending time with his friends, drawing, and being productive
Dislikes: doing nothing, big crowds, public speaking
Background: Since Aaron’s mom died, and his dad didn’t know about him, he grew up with the people who raised Thumbelina. They were kind enough to take him in.
Power/s: He can turn into a mermaid when he touches ocean water, but tries to avoid it because he finds it embarrassing.

Mari cartwheeled through the halls of Legacy High. This was a daily occurrence for her, and no one but a few of the new kids paid any attention to her. She landed in an upright position to access her locker: it was unfortunately right side up.

Aaron was already at his locker, which happened to be right next to Mari’s. He looked around for his current book, but it seemed lost amongst the clutter in his locker. He decided to just go for it and shove his entire arm into his locker, finally emerging with the book. “Yes!” he cheered to himself.

"Hiya Aaron!" Mari giggled, only just noticing her friend. She was clearly a Rebel, but her energy was so infectious that she was sometimes mistaken as a Royal. "How's life? Topsy turvy, I hope!"

Aaron about jumped at the sound of her voice, being a very unobservant person. “Great, now that I found my book!” he replied with a smile. “I thought I lost it! And this is one of my favorites! How are you doing?”

"Well, actually. But unfortunately the school is right side up! Wonderland High was never like that. You never knew where you were going to end up!" She stood on her tiptoes as she grabbed a couple books. She was kind of short, which was strange since her father was quite tall.

“That sounds kind of scary to me,” Aaron replied. “I’d rather keep my feet firmly on the ground when I can. I like knowing where I am.” He checked his backpack to make sure he had everything he needed, then had to search for a textbook.

“Good, nice to see you Phoenix,” Aaron replied. “How are you?” He got his textbook out of his locker and put it in his backpack.

"That is a good question, Phoenix bird!" Mari giggled. "Why, in Wonderland High we never had lockers. We never even needed books!"

“Because I am not dragging around all my books to every class,” Aaron explained. “And before you saying anything, yes they’re all necessary. Besides, I like books.”
