Sebastian and his father climbed into their limousine. Ignoring his father completely, Sebastian got on his phone as they started to drive away. Curious, he checked the security camera for the trailer, watching what his demon was doing.

Bryn managed to shove himself up into a sitting position, thankful that they had bound his hands in front of him and not behind. He raised them up, hooked them around a razor-sharp antler, and gently sawed until the rope was finally cut. Humans were so foolish, using rope to bind him. From there he spat out the gag and began looking for some way to open the trailer. Maybe he could unlatch the door, or find some way to slam it open.

Sebastian sighed.
"Father, my demon is trying to escape," he whined, pouting.
"Don't worry son," he father explained, "There's no way for it to get out. We invested in state of the line equipment. Only the best for my son." He gave Sebastian an encouraging smile. Sebastian rolled his eyes and turned his attention back to his phone.

Bryn ran his hands over every wall, frustrated to find that they were smooth and perfectly fitted together- no locks to pick or latches to break. Even worse, Bryn was too weak to force the back open, no matter how many times he pounded his shoulder against the trailer walls. It was starting to look like he'd have to attack the humans when the trailer was opened, so he plopped down onto the floor and blew a raspberry at the camera in the corner.

Sebastian chuckled at, in his eyes, how childish his demon was acting. Soon growing bored, however, he switched to watching videos. Mostly on how to deal with your new demon and similar subjects. He was no fool; the demon he picked hadn't given up by a longshot, and he liked that. Instead, he was going to outmaneuver it; after all, his demon was meant to be nothing more than a new plaything.

Bryn stared up at the camera for a few seconds longer and then wandered over to the corner it was sitting in and pried it from the wall. It was surprisingly easy to disassemble, made of some kind of hard plastic and full of little wires, and Bryn was quite pleased when he stepped on the shell and cracked it into sharp shards. Not pretty, but they would be usable.

group

Sebastian, after watching several useless videos, decided to check on his demon again. The feed, however, was blank.
"That cheeky bastard broke my camera!" He muttered furiously under his breath.

(Hey, you think you could throw me a couple ideas as to how Sebastian would be able to get Bryn "under control?")

(Bryn talks a big game but deep down he's scared of being powerless. I'd say Sebastian exerting his power over Bryn and forcing him to do something would work. Or, like, forcing him to submit to something. Also, Bryn's kind of a wimp when it comes to pain.)

Bryn was humming quietly to himself as he picked up a shard and wedged it into the trailer door, grinning when he forced it open a crack. Even in this powerless state, he was a good deal stronger than any human. Inch by inch he pried the door open until he could stick his hands out the back and wave them around.

Of course, by this time they had reached the highway and were going upwards of 70 miles per hour. Sebastian set his phone down quietly on his lap.
"Go faster," he said.
"Son, we're already going five miles over the speed limit."
"I don't care. I said go faster!" Sighing, the driver pushed down on the accelerator, and the limousine and trailer sped off.

Bryn yelped when they sped up, the acceleration slamming him into the door. That was probably bad, wasn't it? His work got more urgent and soon he could stick his head out the bottom and watch the road pass by. They were going much too fast for him to jump even if he got the damn door open wide enough to fit through. He cursed quietly but didn't stop forcing the trailer open.

group

Sebastian watched the world zoom by. Hopefully, his demon was too chicken to jump out at such high speeds. They weren't far away from the mansion now, where his demon would be dealt with accordingly.
"When we reach home, slam on the breaks," he instructed the driver.

Once the door was wide enough for Bryn to crawl out of, he realized he had two options: jump out into the road and pray he didn't get too badly injured, or climb on top of the trailer and see if he could find somewhere safe to land on the side of the road. He opted for the latter, slowly starting to crawl up the back of the trailer. It was slow going, but he found that he could dent the walls if he kicked or punched hard enough which gave him enough holds to keep from falling off.

group

Sebastian's mansion was already in view, looming over the sparse trees on the property. Sebastian was growing impatient.
"Stop! NOW!!" He shouted at the driver.

Bryn had just started to pull himself on top of the trailer when it jolted to a stop, throwing him harshly to the ground. The wind left his lungs and he couldn't seem to breathe, no matter how hard he tried to suck in air.

group

The driver pulled to the side of the road in front of Sebastian's home. Sebastian leaped out of the car, stepping to the trailer to check on his demon. When he saw the door forced open, the dents in the trailer, and his demon laying on the ground, he lost it. He stormed over to it, grabbing it by the shirt.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" He was so mad, he didn't stop to think that being thrown from a speeding trailer might have hurt his demon.

Bryn wanted to tell the human off but all he could do was cough weakly and claw at his hands. Everything ached from the way he'd hit the ground and his vision was starting to get dangerously hazy. The glare he tried to shoot at the human became something pained and vulnerable.

group

Sebastian, calming down slightly, noticed his demon almost looked… human, the way it was looking up at Sebastian. Pushing this thought to the side, he pulled it up.
"Let's just get you inside," he muttered, keeping it upright.

Bryn's legs were uncooperative, forcing him to lean on the human for support. He was still pained, and a gnawing worry was starting to spring up about what would be done to him when they got inside the mansion. Still, he could breathe again, and it would be infinitely easier to escape a house instead of a moving car. After a brief struggle, he let the human move him with little resistance.

group

Sebastian's father was thoroughly shocked to see his son helping the injured demon. So much so that he said nothing. Sebastian ignored this and started leading the demon up the driveway to the house.
"So, do you have a name?" He asked.

"Do you care?" Bryn shot back, voice shaky but proud. He carried himself with a strange dignity, shoulders back and head held high. "I thought I was just your demon." He spat the words venomously, offering Sebastian a glare that was surprisingly heated for someone who could barely walk on his own.

group

Sebastian had an annoyed look on his face, and a dangerous glint in his eyes.
"Let me rephrase; tell me your name you little fucker before I give you a new one." Sebastian dug his finger into the demon's chest.

Bryn whined at the pain the gesture spread through him, legs giving out and forcing him to clutch at Sebastian to stay upright. Still, his lips peeled back into a defensive snarl, one that he hoped disguised the fear rushing through him. "Give it to me then, pig. I'd hate to have your dirty lips sullying my name anyways."

group

At the insult, Sebastian shoved the demon off of him, pushing him into the ground.
"Give me. Your. Name." He hadn't originally planned on forcing the demon to tell him its name, but now he would have it. No one called him a pig and got away with it, especially a filthy demon such as his.

Bryn struggled onto his elbows, hair falling into his eyes. That was good. That meant he didn't have to fight to keep the fear from showing on his face. He stared towards the ground, mumbling a pained "Make me" and then, a little louder to disguise the challenge he'd let slip, "Fuck off, pig."

group

Sebastian wasn't fooled that easily. He swiftly kicked the demon in the stomach, staring down with disgust.
"I'll get it out of you, one way or another."

It set off a violent coughing fit that had Bryn clutching weakly at his stomach and wheezing for breath. He was curled over on his side, half his face pressed against the ground. It was cold beneath his cheek and helped him clutch desperately at consciousness. "Bryn," he managed to force out after a few seconds. "Your kind calls me Bryn."

group

Sebastian crouched down in front of Bryn.
"See, Bryn, that wasn't so hard. We could've avoided this if you had simply answered my polite question." He brushed some of the hair out of Bryn's face, slightly worried he had gone too far.
"Now, let's go get you fixed up."

group

(I'm just sitting here, wanting to yell at Sebastian about his treatment of Bryn.)

Bryn flinched away from Sebastian's hand, gaze fixed resolutely on the ground. He was shivering. There was still a defiant tilt to his chin and some kind of rebellion in the curled scowl on his lips, but it was mostly posturing. He hated how easy it had been for this human- this pig- to force the words out of him. How easily he had given in. "Don't touch me."

(It's okay, we'll make him suffer when he finally grows a conscience and realizes how badly he's treating Bryn.)
