Sebastian had to stop himself from showing his disgust at the entire situation, because unlike Bryn he had to actually act. When Bryn pouted up at him, Sebastian forced himself to simply rub Bryn's head instead of scooping Bryn up in his arms to make the pout go away.
"Thank you. That will be all." The maid bowed once before leaving.
Bryn pushed himself up into Sebastian's lap as soon as she was gone, scowling at the door she'd left from. He nestled himself firmly into Sebastian's chest, more clingy than usual. There was a storm brewing behind his eyes. "I hate it when they talk to me like that."

Sebastian wrapped his arms around Bryn, tighter than he usually dared.
"I hate having to talk like that," he said, rubbing circles on Bryn's back. He much preferred this; just him and Bryn, no one to tell them that this was wrong. No one interrupting their one on one time.
"And it's still only morning…"
"At least you never called me an 'it' to my face," Bryn muttered, relaxing despite his obvious discomfort. The whole encounter had shattered the peaceful bubble of last night and left the jagged edges of reality to scratch at his newly exposed heart. He buried his face in Sebastian's neck. "I can't stand it when humans do that."

Sebastian kissed Bryn's forehead.
"I know, but I don't know how long I'll be able to get away with that." Sebastian wanted to hide Bryn away, where no one could ever made him feel like this again. Unfortunately, if anything Sebastian would either have to leave Bryn to act like a pet without Sebastian, or force Bryn to have to face the world as a pet at Sebastian's side.
Bryn leaned up to kiss him softly, a shaky smile on his face as he pulled away. He slung an arm around Sebastian's back, gripping the fabric of his shirt weakly. "I guess you'll just have to make it up to me afterward, won't you?" Bryn would never enjoy being forced to act as a pet but he could deal. He could force himself through it as long as Sebastian was there to comfort him when they were alone.

"Every day," Sebastian said, kissing him gently. He didn't know what to do, so he asked Bryn.
"So, do you want to stay here for the day our come with me?" No matter what Bryn said, Sebastian knew it was what Bryn wanted, so he would be okay with it.
Bryn kissed him back, soft and slightly nervous. He frowned when Sebastian asked the question, already half defeated by what he would have to face. "I'd rather play show pony with you by my side. Where are we gonna have to go?"

"Well," Sebastian thought for a moment, "We have the morning open, then we go over to my friend's for lunch, and at five I have kickboxing practice." He winced slightly at the mention of his friend; he had an idea as to how she would react to Bryn, and it made him cringe.
Bryn's frown only deepened when he noticed the wince, and he pushed his face into Sebastian's neck. Today was going to be upsetting, wasn't it? "What's your friend like?" His voice was tired, almost resigned. "Is she like you used to be?"

"Ah- no. More like what I have to pretend to be." Sebastian put his hand on the back of Bryn's neck, putting his held on the top of Bryn's.
"This is gonna be painful…"
Bryn pressed himself into the touch with a soft sigh. "We should probably use our time this morning to doll me up. Get me fitted for a collar and some pet clothes and all that." He grimaced at the idea, but it would be for the best. They'd help him blend in more.

"I suppose so," Sebastian said. "But that would require actually getting up, and I really don't want to." He pulled Bryn flush against him, chuckling.
Bryn laughed too, grateful for the distraction, and cuddled closer to his side. He stole a few more pieces of food off the platter before he laid down again, pecking Sebastian fondly on the cheek. "Too bad, it's time for you to start te day. Up and at 'em!!"

Sebastian laughed, putting his forehead on Bryn's for a moment before pulling away. He moved the breakfast tray from over him, swinging his legs off the bed.
"I'm not the only one who should get ready," he noted, grinning with his back turned to Bryn.
Bryn snorted and burrowed under the blankets, taking advantage of all the open space. He smirked at Sebastian from a newly formed blanket cocoon. "I dunno, I'm pretty comfortable. Maybe you can go out and do all the chores while I nap in your big cozy bed."

"At least take your medication." Sebastian stood, stretching. He walked over to his desk, picking up the orange bottle. He smirked.
"And you're gonna have to come get them."
Bryn whined and snuggled farther into the covers. His ribs did feel a bit sore now that he thought about it, but it was nothing he couldn't deal with. "But Sebastian," he whined, sticking his head out of the covers to pout playfully. "Can't you carry it over to me so I won't strain my ribs?" He looked up at Sebastian through his eyelashes. "Pretty please?"

Sebastian looked at Bryn, tryingto hold his resolve. It broke after a few seconds, though, and Sebastian made his way over to the bed with the medicine.
"I think there is going to be an unhealthy about of pamperingfrom me in this relationship, isn't there?" He said with a smile as he gave Bryn the medicine and a kiss on the forehead.
Bryn purred happily and swallowed his pills, frowning slightly at the taste. He kissed Sebastian to get rid of it, soft and pliant beneath him. He wrapped an arm around his neck to keep him close. "I think it just the right amount of pampering, personally."

Sebastian smiled into the kiss.
"Just don't forget that I can't do everything," he said, nuzzling Bryn's nose. With that, Sebastian held up his phone. It had the website of a nearby pet store pulled up.
"Like pick you're new outfits and collar."
Bryn smiled and nuzzled him back. His good mood disappeared when Sebastian brought up buying pet clothes and he pulled him down onto the bed so they could cuddle. Being held made him feel more secure. More ready to face the world. "Okay. Um… I like that one." He pointed to a slender black collar with an attachable silk leash. "What do you think about it?"

Sebastian wrapped his arm around Bryn, pulling him close.
"I think it'll look amazing on you," Sebastian said. He hated to ruin the mood like he had, but choosing what they were buying now would be better for them in the long run.
Bryn snuggled closer, frowning when he noticed how subdued Sebastian seemed. "Of course it will." He flipped his hair, playfully vain, and hoped some lighthearted teasing would make Sebastian smile. "I'm gorgeous, I look good in everything."

Sebastian gave a small smile.
"I'm glad we can agree on that point," he said, kissing Bryn's forehead again. He couldn't help it; Bryn was too amazing to not want to kiss him.
Bryn brightened when he saw Sebastian smile, flushing slightly at the compliment. He turned his attention back to the phone a few seconds later, picking a few of the less skimpy outfits. "Why don't you pick something? I wanna see what you want me to wear."

"Okay then," Sebastian noted, looking at the phone. He scrolled, trying to find something that wasn't overly revealing or demeaning. Finally, he found something he thought would look good on Bryn.
"What about this?" he asked, pointing to it. It was a forest green onepiece, only going about knee length and tied at the hip with a darker colored cord. It was obviously pet clothing, but it wasn't overly frilly, girly, or revealing.
Bryn hummed consideringly, adding it to their cart. He could already tell it would complement his skin tone and it was pleasantly solid, nothing gauzy or revealing. "I like it!" He nuzzled Sebastian's neck happily. He picked out a few more pieces along the same lines before he started looking into some more raunchy outfits. He knew it was common for people to put their 'pets' on display at formal events, so he grabbed something sheer and lacy that looked vaguely flattering and a couple pairs of glorified lingerie. "I think we're done."

Sebastian had watched as Bryn chose his outfits, shuddering slightly when Bryn chose the lacy outfits at the end.
"Well then," he mused, "it's only eight thirty, we won't be able to pick these up for another hour at least, and we don't need to get to my friend's house until noon. It seems we have some free time." Sebastian set his phone down, wrapping his other hand around Bryn.
"What ever should we do with it?"
Bryn noticed the shiver, looking up at Sebastian with a lazy smirk. He threaded his arms around Sebastian's neck, pulling him closer, and kissed him slowly. "I'm sure you can think of something. After all, you seemed pretty happy with those last three outfits. Did something get you all riled up?"
