(thanks- i hope he's alright for your kid)
Name: Matthew Rohan Adair
Age: 17
Gender/Pronouns: Male, He/Him
Orientation: Pansexual
Appearance: Matt has chestnut brown eyes, they seem pretty normal until you engage with him. They're sharp, defiant and there's a slight look of annoyance to them when you get his attention when he doesn't want to be noticed. His hair is a cinnamon brown color, straight and ruffled, giving volume to his hair yet slightly curled at the ends. Matt stands at about 5'8, weighing in at 129 lbs. He pierced his ears when he was 15, doing it behind his parents' backs.
Matt usually wears tank tops or t-shirts depending on the weather. His pants are pretty typical for teenagers his age- fitted blue jeans with converse or heavy-duty boots, mostly used for work. His overwear in the winter is a g-1 military flight jacket gifted by his truly, his father. Commonly worn with the jacket is an Ushanka hat.
Personality: Typically? Angry. This seems to be his most dominant trait, passed down from his father. When he's out in public he makes sure he looks pissed off to scare anyone who may want to interact with him. Most of Matt's friends knew him to be this way back in his hometown, but truth was, he was scared. To avoid this, he spent most of his time out with friends, it seemed to brighten his mood. Matt seems to change around different people. To adults, he looks like a trouble-making kid who got in fights for the hell of it, but to teenagers his age, he seems tired, maybe free-spirited? with the occasional snarky comment.
Background: Matt used to be very loving, clinging to his mother who would reciprocate that feeling. Once his mother was gone, he found himself stuck with his father who would drink to forget the passing of his beloved. Drinking never went well for anyone so Matt wasn't surprised when the drinking turned into fighting. His once soft-spoken and gentle father turned into a monster and Matt couldn't wrap his head around that.
One day his father attempted- he failed. He was rushed to the ER and then put in a psych ward. Social security took it from there, wanting to put Matt into the system, but he refused. He had been twelve at the time.
So he left. Ran away. He packed his shit and moved relatively far. If he had to be honest, he wasn't sure where he was going until he found a quiet town that seemed to have the peace he wanted. So he settled for a room in an apartment he had checked out before he left. That was three years ago- now he was considered a missing child who was never found.
Theme Song(s): Hang on to Yourself by Palaye Royale, Liar by Anti-Flag, Kick Me by Sleeping With Sirens
Other: Matt wears rings on his fingers, chunky enough that if someone wanted to start a fight with him, and he hit them, it would hurt like hell while also leaving a mark. Since the parts Matt had to travel through were dangerous, he brought his father's gun along with him. Thankfully he didn't have to use it.
