Sweet! I’m ready to start whenever

@Vuclan-is-tired

Sounds good! Should it be for Dal? And that's what attracts Hui Loi's attention?

Good thought! That gives a reason for Dal to be in the mortal realm too

@Vuclan-is-tired

Yeah! And maybe they're both undercover, chit chat and get to know each other well, and go from there?

@Vuclan-is-tired

Also is this more fantasy vibes or modern or?

The first emotion Hui Loi felt was confusion. There was a festival going on, but none of the gods knew who or what it was for… It was a big festival. People laughed, drank, danced, and sang. The gods (not wanting to get their feet dirty) order Hui Loi to go undercover and figure out what was going. Seeing as he was the "Thunder Spear" of the gods… it was more of an order rather than a request. So… Here Hui Loi was. He was dressed in a simple festival robe, his hair a soft brown rather than it's usual black. It was tied back so it looked shorter than it was. He walked through the bustling people, a small look of content on his face. He didn't eat anything, and didn't say anything, though he'd offer enchanting smiles when people did come up to him and talk. He moved quietly to the outskirts of the festivals for a breather, watching from afar. Nothing seemed off for the most part. Perhaps it was just a party.

Dal’gan liked parties. He liked the mingling among mortals, mooching off of their foods and basking in the cheerful mood floating amongst the crowd. Though, he liked it more when he was inconspicuous. Or even when the mortals weren’t sure what they were celebrating and they were just being.
He stood at the edge of one of the crowds with a drink in his hand, more listening to the conversation and distributing short half-smiles among the people whenever appropriate. He held the glass close against his vest almost protectively. His black hair, reaching to the middle of his back, was tied out of his face with a velvet ribbon.

After a while the crowd dispersed and each of the occupants divided amongst other activities. Rather than following their lead, he stepped back to the outskirts and simply drank. Watching the guests of his festival with a contented smile. Somewhere off in the hedges beside him, the leaves rustled, and out slunk a black tabby cat. It trotted over to Dal’gan, pressing its forehead against his calf.

Hui Loi wasn't usually one for parties, he was more spending quiet night in libraries reading… people were loud… unpredictable. Especially when drunk. People liked to get drunk at parties. He sighed deeply and fiddled with his fingers, shutting his eyes as he tried to relax. He was just here to figure out what the mortals were celebrating and then he could just leave. They were celebrating a god, that much was obvious. There were sacrifices a plenty, and many people were wearing symbols along their masks or dresses, or carrying it on festival gifts. He couldn't quite place the symbol however, he had seen so many over the centuries… He sighed and noticed a black tabby and he tilts his head a little. He had always liked animals. He couldn't blame the creature. It was food galore. He watched it disappear before turning his attention forward again, watching the people curiously.
