(Lmao true)

M nodded curtly and looked forward again. β€œBeat the rush. Hmm… do you want me to just teleport us there?”

Alison blinked in surprise. β€œSure, yeah. That would be good. Don’t you need to know where it is, then?”

M blanched. β€œEr… no, I don’t.” He smiled sheepishly.

(He doesn't, what? I’m confused, sorry…)

(Doesn’t know where the diner is.)

(Got it.)

Alison laughed gently. β€œOkay, well it’s…” she rambled off the address and smiled up at him. β€œGot it?”

M furrowed his brow. β€œUm… maybe?” He asked this more to himself, and he had absolutely no idea where the diner was.

β€œMaybe we should just walk,” Alison suggested with a soft chuckle. β€œThat seems safer at the moment.”

M grinned sheepishly down at her again. β€œRight. That sounds like a good plan. We’re almost there, right?”

β€œYeah, just another block or so to go,” Alison answered, smiling up at him again.

The pair, M and Alison, got sat down at a homey little diner near the corner of town. It was a bit farther than a block (three and a half to be exact) but M seemed to have a good time walking with her. He didn’t seem too bothered by it, either, since he was so used to walking long distances in barefoot. It was just a thing for him.

"So… I might have underestimated the distance a little…" Alison chuckled sheepishly as she sat down across from him in their booth.

M curled his legs up into a criss-cross applesauce position so she had room.
β€œI suppose you did, hmm?” He smiled good-naturedly.

Alison grinned at him, blushing a little as she ducked her head. "It's been a while since I've been here, okay?"

M chuckled happily and looked around. Spring flowers and cute little hearts for Valentine’s day floated around.
β€œMm. It’s nice in here, is it?”

"It is. It's very cute. I remember why I liked it here so much," Alison mused as she looked around, her eyes soft.

M shifted in the worn seat of the booth. β€œIt doesn’t seem very busy. I don’t think we should’ve worried of a rush.”

group

"Yeah. It seems like there aren't as many customers as I remember," Alison noticed, turning her attention back to M.

M’s eyes were still flitting around the diner. β€œMmm. It still has a few people. Perhaps we are late?”

Alison shrugged and glanced around again. "Maybe… But it is a rather old diner, so they just might not have as much business anymore."
