M continued his soft chuckling, his eyes sparkling in the light of the basement. He set another shirt down and started on a pair of jeans.

Rude, Alison thought jokingly, shaking her head with a silent laugh.

M stuck his tongue out at her turned back, rolling his eyes. β€œSays you.”

Graci turned to look at him, her eyes glimmering with laughter as if she knew precisely what he was thinking.
β€œI will allow you that and much more.”

Jericho's cheeks tinted the tiniest bit. By the gods this will be much more difficult than I thought. "I'm flattered." He said, winking at her as she led them out of the bar.

Graci laughed softly, charmingly, as she turned them down the path. She was living in a penthouse up in a very fine hotel, courtesy of her God companions. The mortal woud find it hard to walk away from someone like her.

Alison chuckled softly as she continued to work on the laundry. β€œLove you~!”

M wrinkled his nose at her jokingly. β€œLove you too.”

Alison giggled a bit as she finished her load and switched the other out of the washer and into the dryer. She stuffed the next load in the washer, looked around for more clothes to do, and turned to M when she found none. β€œLooks like I get to help you fold now!”

M was holding the last shirt to be folded and he looked up at her. β€œOh. I’ve finished.” He grinned as he set the folded shirt down. β€œSorry to disappoint you.”

β€œWhat? Seriously? Wow, that was fast,” Alison mused, blinking in surprise. β€œHow did you do that?”

β€œWhat do you mean?” M asked innocently, looking down at the hamper of folded clothing.

β€œHow did you fold everything so quickly?” Alison asked again.

β€œI folded it quite slow, in my opinion,” M fussed, frowning slightly.

β€œHm. All right,” Alison hummed, glancing at the pile again before turning to M. β€œWould you like to help me put everything away?”

M nodded and slowly rose to his feet. He hadn’t been that comfortable on a floor before. It was quite nice.
β€œI can help with that, yeah.” He picked up the hamper.

β€œGreat! To the bedroom, then!” Alison declared with a giggle as she bounced out of the room happily. It was great having him home. And she got him for another two days, too!

M bobbed after her, carefully shimmying up the steps after her. He smiled at her happy thoughts. He couldn’t help it; they made him feel very happy.

Alison pushed the door to their bedroom open and sat down on the bed. She patted the bed beside herself, smiling at M.

M shuffled over and set the basket down, sitting on the bed next to her. He smiled faintly at her, then down at the clothes.
β€œSo. Organizing.”

β€œYup. What if you hand me things, and I’ll put them away?” Alison suggested.

M nodded, bending to lift out an article of clothing. β€œSounds good.” He handed her the shirt.

Alison took it with a smile and put it in the correct dresser drawer. β€œWhat should we do for lunch today?”

M handed her a pair of pants, humming in thought. β€œI dunno. Perhaps some soup?”

β€œThat could be good. I might need to look a recipe up, though. I haven’t gotten the one from my mom, yet,” Alison mused, putting the pants away.

M handed her another shirt. β€œDo you want me to call again?”

β€œNo, I don’t want to bother them again. My father is very busy these days, what with his business doing so well,” Alison said as she continued to put things in their respective places.

M frowned. β€œBut soup!” He protested as he handed off a neat pair of socks.

β€œI can make a different soup, love,” Alison chuckled, setting the socks in a drawer.

M frowned slightly. β€œOkay. I bet your soup’ll be amazing anyway.”

Alison smiled over at him and chuckled a bit. β€œThanks dear. I’ll certainly try.”
