Aaron didn't mind, shrugging lightly. "I don't know–" He tilted his head back to look at Lucas. "–what should I do?"
London Panic // 3/3 // CLOSED
Lucas shrugged as well. "Maybe say that like… one of our mothers has cancer or some shit, I dunno. I've never really tried to spread rumors before."
"Not what I meant but sure," Aaron replied. "Also, whose mother is going to have cancer? By the way, spreading rumors can be fun sometimes."
"You can say mine, if you want. We know for sure that isn't true. She's kinda dead, so…" Lucas muttered, watching Aaron's screen. He couldn't remember whether he'd actually mentioned this fact before or not.
Aaron looked a bit surprised, looking at Lucas a bit worriedly. "Why didn't you tell us about it before?" He asked, closing his phone and facing the other so he didn't have to lean his head back.
"Oh… well, she's been dead for ten years. I didn't figure it was that important for you guys to know…" He turned his eyes away nervously.
"Lucas…" Aaron mumbled, pouting and glaring a bit at Lucas (which makes him look very cute but he doesn't know that). "That doesn't mean it's not important, everything about you is important and you shouldn't hide anything from us." He added on. "Unless you did something really bad."
"I-I didn't do anything bad! Not to my mother… she was killed. There was nothing I could do to stop it. I was only nine, after all." He shied away from Aaron's glare, rubbing his arm a bit.
Aaron kept glaring at Lucas, crossing his arms now. "Lucas, you need to tell us stuff like this, okay? I don't want to talk about a sensitive topic and make you upset," He said. "Is there anything else we need to know?"
"I… um… I had a twin brother named Claus. H-He died too… also when I was nine." Lucas folded his arms tightly over his own chest, feeling self conscious.
Aaron sighed, getting up and holding his arms out. "Can I give you a hug?" He asked, feeling bad for Lucas.
"I-I guess so…" Lucas hugged Aaron. "And my dad, um… He's still alive, but I'd honestly probably be better off if he wasn't…" It's pretty horrible to basically want him dead, but he wants me dead too…
Aaron wrapped his arms around Lucas, nodding in understanding. "Let me guess, he's abusive, isn't he?" He mumbled, trying his best not to hug him too tight.
Lucas remained silent, which confirmed Aaron's already basically rhetorical question. He held on a little tighter to the other. "I'm sorry…"
"Well, at least your family is close by," Damian said suddenly. "Mine's all the way in Britain. Although I think they're on holiday in Ireland right now. Kinda wish I was with them."
"Kinda wish my dad would just go to Ireland or something, but I wouldn't wish that upon your parents. He's not a pleasant man."
"They don't live there," He laughed. "Just visiting. But heaven forbid you send him to Scotland. If Gramma finds him…" He made the motion of slitting his throat.
Lucas smiled weakly. "Maybe I should send him there, then. Someone needs to stand up to him and I sure as hell can't." He folded his arms tightly over his chest again, ignoring the twinging of the bruises underneath.
"Do you want to live with me?" Aaron asked, standing up and leaning against the wall now.
"W-What?" Lucas looked over at Aaron, surprised. "I… I really shouldn't burden you like that… I wouldn't want to be any trouble or anything…"
"It's fine, I don't live with anyone and I'd rather have a roommate than live by myself." Aaron explained, running a hand through his hair to move it out of his face.
"I-I… well, if you're sure…" At least it'd be easy to transfer stuff over. I don't own much. Lucas rubbed his forearms nervously.
Aaron instantly brightened, smiling and clapping once. "Yay! Wanna join us Damian? Heads up, if you do join, we're going to split the rent because I'm not paying for it all the time."
"Nah, mate," Damian replied, his Scottish-ness shining through a little. "Chastity and I have an apartment together, remember. She'd kill me if I left to stay with ya."
Lucas fell silent again, but seemed more relaxed. I won't have to be stuck with that bastard anymore… "I'll have to get my things from my dad's house… I don't own much, but he'll be there. He always is."
Aaron nodded, glancing at Lucas. "I can come with you," He suggested. "Only if you want me to, of course."
"T-That'd be great… Do you want to go now, or…?" Lucas looked up at Aaron.
"Your choice." Aaron shrugged. "Do you want to go after we record the acoustic version?"
(Since Gwen isn't here we might as well go now and be back when she's online)
"We might as well get it over with now…" Lucas put his jacket on.
(Okay then)
Aaron nodded. "Okay then, let's go." He put on his medical mask and hat again, making sure only his eyes were visible.
