Drew made a soft noise in his throat. “I thought sun was bad for you?”
(*you’re)
Drew made a soft noise in his throat. “I thought sun was bad for you?”
"Sun bad for you? Why would it be bad?" Shadow said laughing.
“It might burn! My cousin said he got sun burnt, whatever that means.” He shrugged.
Shadow chuckled. "A sun burn only hurts for a bit and that's only if your out for too long. I will probably have to start not letting the sun shine of you too much because you will burn since you have been inside so much." She said thinking.
Drew furrowed his brow. “I…I suppose.” He didn’t have an answer, mainly because what she said flew over his head.
"I will have to OK it with Jake but he'll be fine with it." She ranted.
Drew blinked confusedly and looked down at his lap. “Okay. Sounds good.”
(I don't know what do do now.)
(I don’t either. Skip?)
(To where?)
(When Drew is allowed to walk around on deck?)
(Would he be able to walk on his own? I mean I know he can walk but crew members may harass him or he may fall off the ship.)
(Well he’d have to feel his way around, so he’d probably need company.)
(That works for me but I have to go to bed. I have a Jazz competition tomorrow.)
(Okay. Good luck!)
"Hey Drew?" Shadow said. "I need work up on the deck and Jake doesn't want me to leave you here. So I'm going to have to take you up on deck OK?"
Drew blinked in the direction of her voice. “Why doesn’t he want me to stay here? I won’t do anything.”
"I know but I guess he wants the crew to see you or something." She said shrugging. She walked over to him and grabbed his hand. "Lets go."
Drew squeezed her hand in his and stood up slowly. “What if the crew doesn’t like me?”
"The crew usually like people. They will probably try to intimidate you but they are a lot more intimidating when you can see them." She said, leading him out of the room.
Drew followed her, trying not to stumble over himself. “Okay. If you say so.”
She dragged him out onto the deck. She looked at Drew. She bent down. "Drew do you know what a piggy back ride is?"
Drew shook his head slowly. “N-no, I don’t. What is it?”
"Your going to put your arms around my neck and I'm going to grab onto your legs." She said bending down. "Could you do that?""
Drew blinked a couple times. “Er-er I can try.”
"Ok than." She said. "I'm already bending down."
Drew felt around for her and finally found her neck, wrapping his arms around her.
“Okay.”
Shadow grabbed his legs in a piggy back ride. "Can you wrap you legs around me?"
Drew squeaked when he left the ground and clung to her. “Wh-what?” He instinctively wrapped his legs around her.
"I need to climb up to the crows nest and I won't be able to climb very well if I have to hold your legs." She explained to Drew.
