Character A is a doctor at a Victorian insane asylum. Character B was just admitted as a patient, and also happens to be A’s childhood friend that they may or may not have had unspoken feelings for that couldn’t have been spoken anyways, for their love was forbidden. Is this a second chance, or a road to damnation? Only time will tell.

Anyways here have a mlm historic fiction rp with some angst. You will be A, I will be B. There will be mature/triggering themes so please skip this if that’s not your jam. Anything too spicy goes to dms. And have fun! I’ll post a template soon.

(When I say mlm romance I don’t mean they strictly have to be cis, I’m a transmasc enby myself and I love to use the cisn’t characters! Keep in mind that your character might not want to be open about being nonbinary tho as it is loosely Victorian times.)

Orientation: Bisexual, predominately attracted to men and masc people though and also mostly just his old friend.
Appearance: Is it okay if I just do a picrew? You sure anyone will notice?

5’2”
Personality: If I could describe him in one word, I’d say fairylike. He’s always scattered into pieces, jumping from one thought to the next like a mountain goat going from cliff to cliff. He’s also quite emotionally minded, prone to fits of rage yet is simultaneously very dainty. He suffers from nightmares every night, ever since he was a young child, and his imagination is vivid. It is strange how he chose the path of doctor, after having wanted to be an artist and author for many years.
Occupation: medical doctor, works in the asylum by day and indulges in debauchery out on the streets by night in order to hide the pain.

Other: Has cut off most of the people in his life and honestly is just really invested in his work as of the moment. The only times he doesn’t focus on work is when he’s drinking or spending the nights in the arms of someone else.

Orientation: doesn’t know, hasn’t really thought about it; probably ace-spec
Appearance: 5’6 with a thin, lanky frame. Their family is from Ottoman Syria, so their skin is olive with warm undertones and can get pretty dark in the summer. They have a narrow, diamond shaped face and a long, but soft looking nose, as well as dark, upturned eyes. Full lips, and a straight, prominent chin. Their hair is wild, dark, and curly, and often gets in their eyes. Has one earring piercing their right ear.
Personality: very quiet, to the point of being selectively mute. Has a rather soft, solemn disposition, and can stay still for a long period of time. Although they seem like a sad invisible statue on the outside, Efraim is a very deep thinker and feeler. It’s just difficult for them to express themselves externally, and the only way they can seem to do this is through art and painting. They also consider themselves a coward, and they often avoid conflict when they can. Their father used to always advise them to pray to God for courage, and Efraim has taken that to heart.

(Lol chill. I actually came up with an idea for that as I was reading Florian’s sheet. Maybe Florian’s father and Efraim’s father knew each other, and Efraim’s father was hired to paint portraits for the Bennet family (cuz he was also an artist and taught Efraim how to paint and stuff)? Idk)
