"I did nothing." Soren had a firm, emotionless expression, giving away no signs of having actually done anything. "Everything is fine, God, are we doing this or not?"
Arthur sighed, warping to the other side of the clearing, forcing himself to relax.
"Ready?" he asked, summoning a ring of aura orbs.

I will replied Arthur as he launched the orbs, charging Soren with an aura sword launching into a pattern that seemed to be a mixture of techniques.

Soren dodged the orbs with ease, a shadow blade forming from his fingertips to parry the aura sword. "You're not even trying."
Arthur raised an eyebrow, switching gears and whipping around and summoning his blade, simultaineously creating Aura whips, launching them at Soren. Charging Soren again with new speed, and an even fiercer guard.

With subconscious directions from his shadow, Soren was able to deflect the aura whips. He pressed forwards, clashing blades with Arthur, a grim smile spreading on his lips. "That's more like it."
Arthur frowned, "You've gotten a lot better than last time" he said, throwing Soren's blade aside and pressing his attack. "Too good"

Soren dodged Arthur's attack, responding with his own that narrowly missed the latter's cheek. "I've been holding back I guess, I don't really know my own strength or power.."

Arthur put on an extra burst of speed, beating Soren back before launching to the other side of the clearing, "Chaosae!" he enveloped himself in aura, suddenly taking to the sky with an aireal blaze of Aura. Landing behind Soren he attacked, his sword becoming the handle for a whip of flaming magic.

Arthur let it dissipate, relaxing his stance as the blade vanished, (His wings stayed tho). "Mind telling me what you're up to now?" he asked,

"I'm calming down, my adrenaline is too high." Soren mumbled, dropping onto his back, releasing a large breath of relief.

"You also just fell over" said Arthur leaning over him with a raised eyebrow. Discordion also appeared on the edge of the clearing again. "Also Discordion's been telling me something's up with you since lunch,"

"And you believe everything that guy says?" Soren looked skeptically into Arthur's eyes. "How can someone who isn't part of me know what is going on with me better than I do? That just doesn't make sense. He knows nothing when it comes to me, keep that in mind."
"I don't believe everything, but I have good reason too" said Arthur, "He's the reason I'm still here"

A thin, long scaly tail slithered out from Soren's coccyx and it wrapped around Arthur's leg, pulling him down as Soren stood up.
"Come on then." he sighed.
Arthur yelped when he came back to earth, "what was that for?"

"Felt like it." Soren pushed his hair out of his eyes with a lopsided grin. His tail was still tightly wrapped onto Arthur. "Problem?"
Arthur shifted, clearly ready to bite, his wings flaring.
