My character is a superhero on the verge of turning villainous. Your character is their unrequited lover and sidekick, who wants more than anything to stop the darkness from taking them over.

Appearance: Tall and thin, but lean. Stands at about 6'2", with longish legs. His skin is deathly pale, both naturally and because of his lack of sunlight. He has chin-length jet-black hair, typically tangled and messy— though he can usually be bothered to pull it back into a short ponytail. He has angular features, with a sharp nose and chin, paired with thin lips and piercing blue-green eyes. He tends to wear dark clothing and always wears a pair of thin-framed black glasses. (No; he does not look as much like Aizawa as it sounds like he does. Aizawa literally looks like he's having a stroke when he smiles.)
Personality: INTP-T, Enneagram 5w6. Though he may come off initially as detached and aloof to those who don't know him, he actually craves human connections and can be highly attached to those he cares for. Because he cares for so few, he is the type to become borderline-obsessive with his caring. Not necessarily in a psychopathic way, but in a way that may be unhealthy to himself rather than others. ^{cough cough simp} He is logical and rational. Generally, he's level-headed… even in situations when he probably should be worked up. But not always; though not much works him up, the things that do tend to arouse quite a response in him. Though he has been one to acknowledge that there are a lot of grey areas in heroism and villainy, he's a pretty moral guy all around and does not wish to see anyone he cares for succumb to darkness…
He is lazy when he can be, but he never hesitates to step up when he feels that it's needed.
Powers: He can manipulate the darkness and light energy around him and even transfer the energy into solid material in some circumstances. However, this requires a lot of physicalenergy and overuse of his powers can cause headaches, confusion, and sudden fatigue— even to the point of fainting.

Appearance: 5’5” with an ample but strong figure and brown eyes. He has long, straight black hair, thin and deep-set eyes and olive brown skin. He has a small, flat nose and a round face.
Personality: Very bright and bubbly in public, but secretly a jaded, depressed mess who is slowly spiraling into madness. Fairly secretive, and can lie very well that he’s fooled even the best of lie detectors.
Powers: He can control plants to his will.
Other: He has sickle cell anemia that causes him a lot of pain every few days that can last from hours to a whole day.

Pain. It could vary from manageable to outright unbearable in seconds. That’s what Grace thought as he was slammed into the wall by his nemesis, the Plague Doctor. Doc was especially strong today, his serum that turned him into yet another huge, grotesque bird-faced monster. This one was stronger, however, and faster, and also considerably more clever than he’d expected. So when it came down to it, Grace was outweighed by sheer force and the fact that there were no easily accessible plants in the vicinity. He’d have to rely on his sidekick to save him, again.
