"Does that mean I win then?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

"No you don't win, I still disagree."

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Yes but you're not arguing. So I think that means I win."

@ElderGod-Carrots

“No, no it doesn’t. But I know no matter what I say you’re not going to believe because you’re the must stubborn person I’ve ever met.”

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Thank you, I try my best." She giggled and bowed dramatically.

@ElderGod-Carrots

“Sometimes I don’t know whether that is a good thing or a bad thing, my love.” He said with a smile.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Well then I guess we'll figure that out together, won't we?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

"I guess we will."

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Sounds like a plan to me."

@ElderGod-Carrots

Dorian chuckled softly, “Gosh I love you.”

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"I love you too Dorian." She smiled brightly.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Dorian's smile brightened when he saw hers.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Now then, weren't we doing something?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Riding. See that lone tree over there?" He pointed to one on a hill a mile or two away.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Well, yes, I do. What about it?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

"If I beat you there you have to compliment yourself once a day."

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"And if you don't and I win?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

"That is for you to decide."

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"Ooo, a challenge. I like it. Alright fine. You're on."

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Wonderful." He came to a stop, "On three. One.. two.. three!"

@Elder-God-Jacks347

She didn't hesitate to take off, feeling confident in her abilities. Sure, she knew Dorian probably had some trick up his sleeve but who was she to turn down a challenge?

@ElderGod-Carrots

Dorian was close behind. He knew the path well and he knew the short cuts. There was no way she was going to win.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

She knew to watch for openings in the path that could signify a shortcut and she knew she had to stay close to them so he wouldn't be able to cross over and use them.

@ElderGod-Carrots

He made sure to keep a few paces behind her. Even though it looked like it was an accident, he was definitely doing it on purpose.

She could tell what he was doing, this wasn't her first time riding horses with someone like him.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Then there came a fork in the road. One went straight to the tree, the other in the opposite direction.

Fiona knew that she had to let Dorian go first. He would show her where to go, she just needed to fake him out.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Dorian headed towards the tree, even though at first he had intended on going the opposite way.

She didn't have much time to think, would he go in the opposite way knowing she'd follow just to throw her off or was he actually going the right way? She didn't have the time to contemplate, she just followed him and knew she'd have to live with the consequences.

@ElderGod-Carrots

There was a very large jump coming up. You'd only know it if you'd ridden the path before and only saw it until the last second. There was a path that cut across to the side and to a bridge but it was a detour.
