Ugh. Lex stayed where he was. Very embarrassed.

Rex stared like the weird ass weirdo he is. "You sure you don't need help?"

"Um, y-yeah i'll be fine." He said, his voice about an octave higher than usual.

Rex floated up to his feet and over to Lex. "You sure?"

"Erm yeah it happened when I was alive too. Just whoop up onto the ceiling. I thought it had worn off but, apparently not.."

Rex grabbed Lex by his feet and pulled him down. "Sure it did."

"I'm serious! Side effects of having schizophrenia and parents that have telekinesis. Something just got messed up."

"Mmmmmhm." Rex sat the other down.

"I'm telling the truth!" He grinned. "It happened first when Tyler was born and he claims it was because I loved him too much.." He trailed off, realizing what he was saying.

Rex rolled his eyes. "Who is Tyler?"

"My brother. I was two when he was born."

Rex glanced at Lex. "Huh. Is he dead too?"

"Ah no I hope not." Lex said, Tyler flashing briefly through his mind.

Rex hummed. "That would be tragic."

"At least i'd get to see him. Right before I died I heard him say he was going to Leave The City so he could be anywhere right now." Lex said, kind of to himself.

"How cruel of him," Rex hummed softly.

"No not really. He was great.." Lex muttered, looking away from Rex.

"He just packed up and left you, though." Rex tilted his head.

"N-no..He said he was going to take me with him..but then, well..someone thought I should die instead."

"Who is someone?" Rex perked up a little in interest.

"I never found out. A lot of people didn't like us.."

“It was..” He said quietly.

Rex nodded gently. "I apologize."

“It’s okay. Did you have any family?”

Rex shook his head. "I was an orphan."

"Is that why you were so lonely?"

Rex nodded. “Precisely why.”

“Well now you have me if you want.”
