"That won't last long," he laughed slid his hand around her neck to pull her closer to him

"Oh…" she said softly in surprise. Their faces were so close.

He smiled as he watched her.the way her eyes filled with right determination, the way her brow creased ever so slightly when his hands brushed her skin. "My love."

She blushed faintly. "Why do you love me?" she asked quietly.

He smiled "Cuz I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who can put up with your stubbornness." he said

Her blush became vivid. "But really. Why?"

"You're smart, beautiful and fun to be around. I feel an attraction to you that I haven't felt for someone in a long time." he said genuinely "I love being around you and when I'm away, I can't stand it."

Nathalie looked at him, searching his eyes. "Do you mean that?"

He kissed her softly "of course I do."

She felt a slight chill go down her spine. "Thank you."

he shook his head slightly "I didn't do anything love."

"You did so much," she assured him.

He shook his head "Not nearly enough." he sighed against her skin, brushing his lips against her temple

She gasped softly and closed her eyes. "G-Gabriel…" she stammered.

"yes my love?" He muttered, kissing her head

A slight moan escaped her. "How do you do that?"

"do what my love?" He asked recognizing the quote that he had said a couple weeks before

"Do this to me," she murmured, blinking her eyes open to look into his.

He laughed lightly and drew his lips over hers "do what?" He encouraged,

"Mmm…" She paused for a second to kiss him, then pulled ever so slightly away to speak. "Make me feel… strange."

He tilted his head slightly in confusion "strange? Yes, I guess that's a good way to describe love."

"How would you describe it?" she asked, blushing shyly.

He thought for a moment "opposites." He said with a nod

She tilted her head to the side a bit. "I don't understand what you mean."

He laughed and kissed her head. "Opposites," he repeated again "healing, hurting. Loving, hating. Laughing, crying. Angry, happy. You need all these things and more to love."

"But we aren't opposites, are we?" she asked, thinking about what he'd said.

He shook his head "but we're also not the same, which is good, we combat each other's differences with our own. Opposite-balance I guess you can call it."

She nodded thoughtfully. "I suppose that's true…"

"and what would you call it?" He asked with a grin
