The man was barely in a fighting stance and launched his fireball as Sirus started his attack, doing his best to avoid the shadows.
Gwen glared at the man and jumped away from the swing. “I don't see a human being when I look at you.” she assured him, drawing her hunting knife as her bow wasn't ideal for close-quarters combat.
Corbin had been brushed aside during the start of the fight, but he damn well wasn't about to lose his first student to these men. He gripped a spear in both hands and charged at the axeman.
Sirus dodged it, but winced as the shadows he'd summons dissolved with the light of the flames, the smell of burnt dust and dnak foresty smells filling the air. Growling Sirus summoned more shadows to replace the ones he'd lost, getting in close to his opponent and striking out with his daggers, the inky blackness quickly growing to surround them.
.
The axeman grinned as Gwen switched to her knife, not even hesitating to take another swing at her. Luckily his axe wasn't a huge battle axe, though the weapon would be hard to defend against, especially with the other two men in the way. Speaking of, the other two were itching to join the fight, goon #2(Swordsman) rushing to head corbin off with his sword, while goon #3 (This guy has a staff, and is forever goon #3) circled around to try and take Gwen from behind while goon #1(Axeman) called more teasing taunts.
