Alex gave a tiny sigh. “I’m sure. We can’t waste time, can we?” He smiled a little a d led the way to the front.

Alex nodded. He set the ties down for the cashier to ring up, then glanced over to Autumn.

Alex bumped her back with his shoulder. "I believe it. Now, let's hail a taxi and get me some shoes."

"All right," Autumn chuckled as they stepped outside. She hailed a taxi and asked to be taken to the nearest shoe store.
