Ryder is a potion brewer who can do a few charms, but his sibling River can do a lot of strength and strategy based charms even though they are simply a warrior. Both siblings hope that their little sister doesn't have to deal with the burden of being able to do magic. Onto their little sister. Myra is a small girl, looking much younger than she actually is. She looks around 8 or 9 when she's about 13. She absolutely hates it when her siblings baby her, but she understands it. Because, when Myra was only a few years old, her mother and father passed away. A few days after they passed, River's twin, Harley, went out to find wood for their coffins. After a few days, he didn't return and River went out to find him. They only found his body, mauled to pieces probably by a wild animal.

Arkyn, Jasper, and Seren Pyrie are an interesting family to say the least. Living up to their last name, Arkyn is the eldest of the bunch and takes after her mother by being a talented pyromancer. Jasper, the middle child, is a spitting image of his father, down to his pointed elven ears. He proves to be a rather poorly trained spellcaster, exhibiting magic in wild spurts. The youngest sibling Seren is a young boy who has yet to show any signs of magic even though he’s thirteen years old. He desperately wants to be like his older siblings, but fears he’ll remain ungifted forever. Their parents left months ago on what should have been a short journey a few towns over, but since their disappearance, Arkyn has worked hard to protect her siblings and keep them safe from the dangers of the world around them.

"Come on! We need to get to know our classmates!" Myra exclaims, pulling her older siblings along behind her. Ryder rolls his eyes but follows Myra, River signing at them to slow down. "Myra, we have a few hours. If anything, we need to find our rooms first. And I want to go to the armory." "And I want to go see what herbs they have for potion making." Ryder added on.

The Pyrie siblings strolled through the halls of their new school, sticking close together. “Why’d we have to come here?” Jasper complained, a bit daunted by the sheer size of the place.

“Because we all need to get jobs. Relax, Jasper. If we stick together we’ll be fine.” Arkyn assured her younger brother, casting a worried glance at Seren. “Everything will be fine. Let’s check out the potions room. Maybe you'll be good at that, Seren.” Arkyn could see the despair on Seren’s face as they walked past floating torches and magics of all kinds.

Myra gave a small pout but gave in. "Fiiineee." She drew out, uncrossing her arms. "I think the potions room is the closest. Ryder, you still have some shrinking potions on you right? You could shrink our stuff and we could wait to put it in our room." Myra finished with a smile, Ryder nodding and pulling out some shrinking potion to pour on their bags. "Then we can go to the armory, right? I want to see who the fencing instructor is."
