Starkell's Superhero Academy is one of the most prestigious schools in the world. It trains and raises hundreds of thousands of heroes from all over the world, teaching them to help rid the world of criminals, which there seems to be no shortage of.

But ever since the greatest hero of all time, Cobra, died, the crime rate and the number of villains has rose. One of the largest and most powerful groups in the world, the Nyx, is lead by a supervillain called the Mad Hatter, whose real identity is unknown.

Your character is the child of Cobra. While trying to stay out of everyone's attention while at the Superhero Academy, you notice that there's a person who seems to blend into the background, and yet calls everyone's attention. You try to get closer them, intrigued, and then learn that there's something… not quite right about them.

For one thing, they seem to hate everything to do with heroes… even though they go to a school for heroes. Also, they seem very talented with fighting and plotting… and not in a good way.

And you decide that there's something wrong with them. So you try to find out who this person really is… but the truth is more frightening than you ever thought.

So, it's a hero x villain thing. Obviously. Although that won't be the main plot. It's also kind of a mystery, but I'm not the best at writing that, soooooo…

RULES:

• Ask before you join, please. And I would like to see a writing sample if I haven't already.
• Please write at least two paragraphs for your responses. If you can't think of what to write, try to write about your character's thoughts and feelings. Whenever I'm in a roleplay where the other person doesn't write a lot, I'm usually the one whose carrying the plot along. I don't want that.
• Swearing is a yes, slurs are not.
• I don't care if this dies, but I would like to know if you don't like it first, so I can change something or get someone else to join. I promise, you can tell me. My feelings won't be hurt.
• WHEN YOU ASK TO JOIN, PLEASE TELL ME WHICH SEXUALITY YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO. That way, if and when you get accepted, I know what you want to do, so i can get my character up right away. Also, I DON'T CARE WHAT THE SEXUALITY IS. You're the roleplayer, so you can choose.

Dali stood in the back of a tavern, cleaning up tables with a dirty rag. His eyes were drooping with days of staying awake. His leg was acting up again, making him lean most of his weight on the table. One more table, then I'm done. He promised himself, the man not paying attention to anything but this damn mess on the table. One more table, one more table, one more table…

(Cool! Okay, do you have any questions, or should we get the characters up?)

Alias: The Mad Hatter(villain), Puppetmaster(hero)
Ability: Mind control
Limits of Ability: He can only control his victims if he touches them first, unless he's at his prime time… basically, when his anger and hatred reaches a certain level, he can control those near him, without touching them. Rare, though. He also can't control more than 10 people at a time, so far.
Personality: Myro is… weird. He doesn't care what other people think of him, and it reflects in how he acts and what he does. He's a bit of a maniac, and very spontanious with the things he does… or so it seems. He can be cool and calculating one moment, and raging and screaming the next. A bit of a sociopath, he is ruled by his emotions. When he lets his emotions rule, at least. He is ambitious, cruel, and doesn't care a smidge about loyalty. There's something wrong with his head.
Appearance: Kind of average. He has brown hair and olive skin, and is about 5'10''. He has a few freckles on his nose, and has the build of a swimmer. Nothing about him sticks out, except for his eyes. His eyes, which would be gold, are more of a mixed color, with swirls of crimson, depending upon how much of his power he's using. Usually has an arrogant look on his face and wears jeans and hoodies and t-shirts.
Suit: A black suit with a dark red-brown coat that streams down to his ankles (a little bit like this). A black mask marked with rainbow colors in the form of teeth that covers the bottom half of his face.
Background: Myro grew up in an abusive home. When he was 8, his father killed his mother, and so he killed his father and lived out on the streets for a few years. When he was 10, he was picked out by a stranger who turned out to be the Mad Hatter himself. Myro was trained to be a villain, and later learned that the man who had picked him up from the streets was the third Mad Hatter. When the man died when Myro was 15, he took over the role of the Mad Hatter.
Other: Sorry, it's kinda rough, but here he is!

Nickname: Never really got to know anyone well enough to get a nickname, his dad used to call him Jamie, or little Jamie.
Gender: Male
Alias: Medusa
Ability: Stone-touch
Limits of Ability: It physically hurts him to turn big things to stone, he masks it well, but it hurts like hell. It doesn't really have a limit other than just pushing himself till the pain gets too much.
Personality: He really would prefer to fade into the background, he's not depressed or anything (he totally is), he just prefers the quiet. Most people ignore him and he's okay with that, he doesn't make a huge effort to show off and just gets passing grades. He's that one quiet kid who will snap one day.
Appearance: He's got a pretty basic apparence, doesn't look like his dad because he was adopted. His thick dark brown hair is about to his chin and his skin isn't pale, just sickly looking and a bit grey. His eyes, where most would be white, the whites of his eyes are black and the actual pupil is goldish-yellow.
Suit: Just a simple brown armor with a hood over his head and steampunkish goggles.
Background: He was adopted by Cobra when he was young, having been the only survivor from a fire. Cobra promised his mom that he would look after her baby before she died. He grew up visiting heroes and being given candy by politicians. When his dad died, he went into the care of the state before the league of heroes took him into custody.
