Gray’s POV:
I would have been lost in my thoughts for a while longer had the teacher not interrupted.
“Good morning, students,” she said with a polite smile on her features. “Today I have a fun activity for you all to do!”
I looked up, slightly interested in what sort of thing she wanted us to do.
“We’re going to play puzzles, but it’s more of a math-style puzzle,” she picked up a pile of paper triangles held together by a paper clip. “I’ve got these triangles with problems written on them. The triangle sides that are blank will be the ‘end’ of that triangle. Each side of a triangle will either contain a question or an answer to a question—or, like I mentioned above, it would be completely blank. You have to piece the entire thing together. Sounds fun, right?”
Extremely.
“Anyway, here are your groups!” She turned around and turned on the projector. When I saw which group I was in, I wanted to throw myself off of a building.
