Eden’s POV:
The girl looked disheartened, looking at me with narrowed eyes before she quickly fixed her expression.
I looked at her icily, daring her to take a step closer, daring her to continue this conversation. She flinched, finally taking note of my eyes and the murderous look I supported.
“A-ah, is that so?” She laughed nervously, running a finger through her hair. “Well, that’s a shame. I guess I’ll see you around?”
I didn’t want to give her the chance to hear Sterling’s response, so I mustered up the best smile I could make—my lips tight, a warning present in the way my mouth quirked up.
“Well, if you’ll excuse us,” I muttered, moving out of Sterling’s hold so I could lead him away.
Gray’s POV:
I responded by kissing her on the head. God, she was too adorable.
“And you will,” I assured her right before I caught the woman talking to Sterling and Eden flinch. I couldn’t help but laugh. Finally, I witnessed someone be the victim of Eden’s death stare.
