I grinned down at Eden breathlessly, chuckling at her words. After a quick kiss to her lips, I laid down beside her, wrapping my arms around her and tugging her to me.
“I’m glad you enjoyed it,” I murmured, nuzzling her cheek.

I looked back at him, grinning at his dramatic self. He was too cute. Shaking my head, I walked to the bathroom. I looked over at myself in the mirror first. My disheveled hair, the unexpected glow to my face, and the bite marks littered all across my body. My vision was a little blurry and I had to concentrate more than usual to see, but I paid no attention.
I smiled. I loved the man who did this to me. I loved him so much…
Shaking my head, I began to remove my lenses. Once I was done, I blinked. It wasn't anything I didn't expect. I couldn't make out my shape in the mirror–just colors mixing together, but was it just me, or did it get worse?
I shook my head. Clearly, I was just tired. I grabbed my glasses, perched them on my nose before I walked out.
I crawled back into bed with Sterling and pulled the blanket over us, digging myself deeper into him.
