"He did." Emi turned when Aster came in, a wicked grin on her face. Her eyes promised something terrible, which would probably make Harrison regret telling her. "And I think we may have to… help Harrison with his little problem, don't you, Aster dear?"

“I do not require help.” Harrison spat sharply. He set his cup down beside the sink and tucked his hands into the pockets of his jeans. “Emi, Aster.” The boy started walking out of the kitchen, pausing at the doorway. However he didn’t turn to look at them. “Do yourselves a favour and keep out of our way today. I’m getting tired of your antics, and while I usually let them slide, today is not the day for it.” He wanted everything to run smoothly during Cora’s visit, he wanted to be able to talk to her without having anything ‘odd’ happening. “Vix, come with me, will you?”
"Someone's in a mood today," Emi pouted, frowning at the retreating Harrison's back.
She sent Aster a grin. "I'm going to go talk to her." Emi's version of talk, and a normal person's way of talking were very different. "I'll stay out of their way." She tapped a finger to her chin. "What do you think he means by keeping out of our way? What are some loopholes?"

“Harrison does have a lot of loopholes,” Aster replied with a sarcastic tone.
“If he’s brave enough to even stand up to us saying that, maybe we should give him space for once, I don’t really know,” deep down, Aster wanted his landlord to enjoy this day for once. After what happened with Lock last time, Aster felt like he should be respecting Harrison a bit more. It was in his best interest to invite Emi along with him. To do something other than annoy the living hell out of the visitor.
For a second, all Emi could do was stare. This was not Aster. Aster was fun. He was a seducer. He was a demon. he most certainly wasn't kind, or compassionate, nor did he ever stick with Harrison in a fight.

“Ah… sorry, I’m just… a bit tired. Maybe the soul energy is running out—“ Aster said with a tired tone, he was trying his best to keep himself together during this act.
“I might need to go on a soul hunt sometime soon, maybe even today,”
"Must be," Emi grouched, turning away from him in disgust. "I'd hate to think that you were going soft." She twirled a strand of hair between her fingers and stared at the wall. "If I knew any better, I'd think you suggested the hunt to get me out of the house while Harrison had his guest."
