I honestly want to use my cinnamon roll girl in a romance. Doesn't really matter what genre.

For her entire school life, Abigail Parks was known for being bubbly, nice, kind, and very, very selfless. So she was, more often than not, used as a tool for other students. Whether it be an extra shift at the library, an essay due in a few hours, or a pile of homework, Abbie always did as she was asked, knowing that she shouldn't. Abbie even asked people if they wanted help, and their response was usually a yes. She enjoyed it, helping people. But Abbie wanted someone to notice the tears behind her smile, the grief in her laugh. She wanted to have a real friend, not the ones who say they're your friend and use you, gossiping behind your back.

One day, a guy her age notices her, and every time Abbie asks him if she can help, he responds with a 'no'.

It doesn't matter what personality your guy has, this is just an idea. I'm hoping for this to be a romance, and if this is closed and you want to rp with me, feel free to PM!

Abbie wrote on the paper, adding notes and acronyms for things to remember. She was in History, and it was hard enough to write down notes on her own paper, let alone two more. Sure, she might've been stressed when the bell rang, indicating the end of third period, but she knew she could rattle her memory and do the work while she ate her lunch.
Handing the two student's their papers-Mike and Julie, a couple who people doubted would separate, Abbie rushed to her locker, fetching her lunch box and a book she was reading at the time, Starcrossed. She'd need to return to the library soon to check out more books, she figured as she walked through the cafeteria doors, sitting herself in the far right corner of the eating area.

Ely watched Julie and Mike carelessly stuff Abigail's notes away and waltz away hand in hand. By the time he looked away from the two, Abigail had left the classroom. Slowly, he gathered his notebook and books and carefully sorting them by size and sliding them into his bag, he left for the cafeteria. As soon as he walked in, he spotted her at the back of the large room, sat nearly alone at a far table. Running a clammy hand through his ashy hair, he started towards said table.
He crossed the cafeteria, head down, and took a seat at the far end of the table, a good 6 seats away from Abigail. He immediately propped a book up in front of him.

Abbie sighed, brushing her light brown hair out of her face. She had nodded once when Ely had come over, her bob cut bouncing a little before she returned to working. Once she was done, she pulled an apple out of her lunchbox.
"So, what're you reading?" She asked, directed at Ely, but she didn't look in his direction. She was, instead, doodling on a blank piece of notebook paper.

"Philip Pullman," Ely asnwered shortly, chewing his sandwich. "And you?"

"Currently? Dean Koontz. He has a way of writing that inspires me. I think," Abbie fiddles with her bag to her right, pulling out a small paperback book. "Yeah. Winter Moon."

Ely's mouth twitched in the hint of a smile. "You've lost track?" That was admirable, in his opinion. "Anyways." He tried to further the conversation. "I know what you mean. This guy, Philip Pullman, his world building is completely flawless. Then add a few deep, developed, attachable, human characters, unlimited plot twists and a mixed-genre plot?" He patted his book fondly. "A true masterpiece, in my own opinion."

I haven't read his books yet, but I'll probably reserve some in the library. Any good recommendations?" Abbie looked in Ely's direction, curiosity the only thing shown.
Don't be an idiot; he just wants something from you. Whatever it is, you'll do it anyways, at least to help the community and such, Abbie figured, keeping a plastered smile on her face.
