(Plus, when someone mentioned Cryptid reminded them of Reed, they said they didn't know who Reed was, which of course can be taken as either denying to cover themselves or an actual misunderstanding. I just don't like to form opinions without knowing everyone's side…)

Okay, my thoughts on the situation
Whether it was intentional or not, the copying of the gods was a bad move to do. Crypt probably didn't know what the gods meant to Reed, which is understandable, but not excusable. Reed's reaction was harsh, true, but it is to be expected in a situation like this. Cryptid deleting their account could either point to-
- they knew what they were doing, and when called out deleted their account
- they took the accusation too harshly, and deleted their account to not deal with it
- they had no idea what was going on and the stress of the situation got to them
