(o/o) with an awesome person

David shook his head at the text.
"Fine, Fine…I'll go to bed, good night Rach. If you have time tommorow you should stop by where I work."
He was at peace with his reply and decided it was finally time to go to bed. He did have to work tommorow so why wouldn't he? David got up the following day having one of the best sleep he's gotten in a while. He put on some actual clothes today instead of just throwing on sweatpants and a t-shirt. David grabbed his car keys and went into his mom's room. His mom has been sick for as long as he could remember. However, instead of looking old and frail, she looked young and healthy. She was hooked up to wires he didn't dare go near. All he knows is his dad told him not to touch them and then disappeared. "I'm going off to work mom. I hop eyou have great dreams…" David kissed her on the forehead and left, locking the door behind him. He unlocked his car and put his bag in the back seat. He then entered the driver's seat and made his way to his job for an early shift.

She looked at the text on her phone from him, before setting her done. She moved to get up and go take a hot shower so she would be more keen to sleep after it was done. She moved to go to her bed afterwards, laying a towel on her pillow as she laid down. She fell asleep after a few minutes and woke up two hours later with a groan. Her alarm went off about a few minutes after she woke up.
She got up despite wanting to continue sleeping and moved to get changed into a shirt and sweatpants. She was not in the mood to dress up in anything different and she was beyond tired. She showed up to the college class she and luka shared with a coffee.

Luca had been down in the dumps lately. It was his fault, after all. He told his best friend that he possibly had a crush on her, so the avoiding portion he should've expected. He sat in his usual seat, looking burnt out and tired. He tried his best to make himself look like he has;t been through a tough couple of days, but he didn't do a very good job of it. He leaned back in his chair and looked up to the ceiling for a couple of minutes before his friends came over and caught up with what had happened.

She stayed away from luka for the most part, though she couldn’t help but glance at him from time to time as she drank her coffee. The scene from the pizza place kept coming back to her any time she thought about talking to him.
He had done his actions, and now he had to face the consequences.
She sipped her coffee with a sigh, looking away at the wall.

Luca kept looking at Rachel subconsciously, and whenever the professor would look at him funny, he put his eyes back onto his paper. The seat next to him was empty. It was annoying because Rachel would sit there, and now he looked even more lonely than before. He gave a heavy sigh that probably the back of the lecture hall could hear. He heard his friend talking in the back, whispering about how crazy the party was. Someone was questioning their sexuality since they kissed another guy at the party. He would've loved to tune into drama and gossip if he was;t so distracted about something that didn't mean this much to him until a few days ago.

Rachel was well aware of when Luca would look at her and refused to look back at him. She felt if she did he would take that as a small victory, though she could just be being dramatic. She let out a sigh very similar to the one he let out.
Some people were probably connecting the dots between the two of them both being upset.

Luca watched a familiar guy who was at her doorstep sit next to her. He rolled his eyes and refused to make eye contact with Rachel and David. He started to look anywhere but those two.
David sat down and mimicked the sigh that Rachel had created. "I got off today, so I'm attending class for once. I didn't know you were in this class." He said only loud enough for Rachel to hear. He opened his notebook and started to take notes on the lecture. "So, what's got you sighing like that?" He ran a hand through his fluffy black curls. His hair used to be black and straight, but then he got a perm and that is no longer the case. He pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses and tried his best to focus while having a conversation with Rachel.

She looked up as she heard a familiar voice, seeing David approaching the empty seat next to her.
"I…didn't know you were in this class either." She spoke, glancing at Luca before looking up at Luca. She looked back at David as he begun taking notes on the lecture and she realized she should probably be doing the same thing. She got out her laptop and started typing down notes.
She didn't want to tell him about what was making her upset, but for some reason she felt like as if she could trust him just a little bit. Which was a very strange thought. She didn't trust people, she hadn't even told Luca that much.
"Just…relationships I guess."

(Hey, sorry, I just had a national marching band competition, and these past few weekends, I've had back-to-back competitions, so sorry for not replying. It's just a lot has been going on. But after captain tryouts, everything should be back to normal!)

"I feel that not everything turns out how you hoped, huh?" He gave a sad smile, looked up at the professor, and dropped his pencil on the desk. He tapped his arm with one finger as he contemplated what to do. "Hey, what do you say? We get out of here. You don't look like you want to be here, and that guy from yesterday is staring holes in the back of my head, so how about we get out of here? Of course, if you don't feel comfortable, that's cool too. It was only a suggestion." He leaned back in his chair, picked up his pencil, and twirled around each of his fingers satisfyingly.

She looked over at Luca, seeing how he was staring right at David, she just shook her head at Luca before looking at David.
"I dont..normally do stuff like this. I think today is an acception only because I cannot focus on anything that the prof is saying."
She sighed, running a hand through her hair as she moved to put all her stuff back into her bag so they could leave and get our of there.
Luca had his other friends.
He didn't need her anyways.
Not that she was there for him in the first place.

(Don't worry, I didn't forget about this. I was tired over break that I slept most of the time and forgot to make my responses, sorry.)

David looked at the board and saw the prof she was talking about. "In my defense, I didn't even know we were doing profs. I was never anything good at those anyway." He grabbed his stuff and held out his hand. "Ready to dip out of here?" He fixed his hair with his free while he spotted a back exit to the lecture hall. It was easy to sneak out of. Every lecture hall had at least one door in the back and one in the front. The back is where all the professor's blind spots are. At least, that's what he thinks.

She quickly moved to get up, putting the bag on her shoulder.
"Yeah, I'm ready. Let's go." She stole one last glance at Luca before moving to leave the classroom with him.

Luca sat up and watched the two of them leave. He slammed his hand down on the counter, causing heads to turn. He gave a quick smiled and went back to looking at his textbook. "Guys, there's something off with the new kid, right? Like I'm not crazy right?"

Damion laughed, playing with his football. "Dude, you're just mad he stole your girl." Luca hit him in the stomach. "Ah, fuck. What was that for? It's true, isn't it?"

"She's not my girl. She never was. Damion, you need to shut up sometimes…" Luca sighed.

David sighed in relief when they left successfully. "I think I know somewhere that you'll love. You need it right now, anyway." He started to walk towards the entrance of campus. The building he was talking about was close by, so he didn't feel the need to drive. Besides, it happened to be a sunny day outside anyway. "So, what do you think you'll do about Luca? It's cool if you don't want to discuss that; I can change the subject."

Rachel raised a brow at him when he didn't start walking towards the parking lot. It meant that the area they were going to was probably close by enough not to drive too.
"You going to tell me where we are going?" She spoke as she walked with him, carrying her stuff in her bag on her back.
It was weird being out of class when she was usually in class, with Luca.
Ugh she needed to stop thinking about him and his stupid face.

"Well, I know you need to burn off some steam, and I figured since you don't come off to me as a people person, you could let off some steam somewhere no one would care about. I promise you I'm not trying to kill you. It's this place I used to come to when my mother was…asleep. Hopefully, this can be a place where you can let yourself go. No, it's not a club, but I do have whiskey. I carry a flask." They started walking into an area without as many people, nor were the houses fancy. He lived around this area but not where they were going. They soon entered a junkyard. Luca dropped his bag need the fenced gate and pigged a pipe on the ground. Welcome to your personal anger playground. We have many cars to choose from to smash or hot wire and steal." He laughed. "Do I make a good commercial impression? However, be careful of junkyard dogs; they can be vicious."

she raised a brow at him, she was suspicious of what he was talking about at first, but when they finally showed up to where he was talking about she realized that he was actually…being genuine. He didn't want to hurt her or anything, and she let her shoulders relax just a little bit.

  "Huh, a junkyard. I guess that's better then going into an alley way and you stabbing me."  She was only halfway joking, as it's happened to her before. 

She snorted at his joke, "I'm sure you'd sell loads to people." She moved to look for something to hit something else. She spotted a metal baseball bat that looked pretty dirty. She picked it up, and then slammed it against a beat up car. She made a decent dent in it.

"I guess it's not so bad."
