It had been a bit since he noticed it and no one seemed to have noticed the crack yet. Basically passing, Alaric kept glancing up then at the crack, unsure what to do. He couldn't let the crew know, it would be certain death according to the 'stories'.
Ocean//OxO//CLOSED
Quill was thinking about the thing he had seen. It must have been a diver, or a fisherman, since they had been so close to the fish. And maybe that's why they hadn't spoke, either, for fear of disturbing the fish. That seemed reasonable.
((Wow, Quill has a real thick skull lol))
Dismissing the crack, he looked back up at the ship hearing a very quiet song coming from the crew he smiled.
((yeah he kinda does))
One of the crew members on top deck had went to singing, an old Mexican tune that Quill knew quite well. He smiled to himself and hummed along to it, tapping his finger on the side of the boat and letting his mind wander from what he had seen.
Alaric quite liked when sailors started singing, even if their voices weren't the best. Seeing the edge of the boundary about 25 yards away, he sighed. He would have to let them go and look for another ship to follow or he could directly disobey the rules and go outside the boundary. Normally it was easy to move on, but today he had the urge to keep following them, so he did.
