"Because…" Bridge looked up at him. "When…when you bite your wrist, you're hurting yourself. When you bite…your lip, it's attractive."
"Pensi che sia attraente, eh?" He bit his lip again, making sure Bridge was watching.

Bridge blushed again, not looking away this time. He was pretty sure he knew what Scipio meant, although he couldn't be sure. He nodded. He did think Scipio was attractive.
"E se morde il tuo?" He leaned forward and gently bit Bridge's lip.
Bridge blushed harder, looking up at him. "It's…it's a little better," He mumbled softly, caving after about five seconds and kissing him again.
Scipio eventually broke away. "Does this mean we are dating now?"
"I…" Bridge was still blushing quite a bit. "I think so."
"You said that dating people kiss, correct?" Scipio cocked his head to the side again, watching Bridge.
He nodded silently, looking shyly up at him.
"Well, since we kissed, I think that makes us dating."
"Oh." Bridge paused for a moment, smiling a little. "Okay. That's…that's good."
"Is that how relationships work? I'm not very informed."
"I…I don't know that much either. You're…you're my boyfriend," Bridge told him, smiling a little more.
"Are we friends? I thought we were dating… I'm confused." Scipio rubbed his wrist again.
"That's…that's what you call it when you're dating a boy," Bridge explained to him. "I'm your boyfriend, and you're mine."
"I think you have it turned around. You belong to me." Scipio said simply, looking down at Bridge.
Bridge nodded, smiling a little bit. "So I'm your boyfriend."
"Yes." Scipio nodded. "You belong to me."
Bridge smiled a bit more, leaning against him a little. "Yeah. I belong to you."
Scipio nodded and watched out the cell door, holding onto Bridge protectively.
Bridge thought for a moment, breaking the silence after a while. "Why…why do you want to protect me so much?"
"You saw what they did to you. You saw what they did to me. They're dangerous."
"Oh." Bridge blinked, leaning against him. "It…it wasn't really that bad."
"But they hurt you, and that's unacceptable." Scipio huffed, still watching.
Bridge smiled a little, suddenly feeling safe with this boy others called a murder and a psycopath.

"Hey! Vaffanculo!" Scipio yelled at a passing guard, who quickly walked away. "Stupid…"

"What about you?" Bridge eventually said. "If you…if you keep protecting me so much, they'll hurt you even more."
"So be it. I can take it." Scipio kept yelling at any guard that passed until they just stopped coming.
